Frontend Developer
We are looking for a Frontend Engineer to take a leading role in building polished, high-performance user experiences across EspressoLabs’ platform. You will own significant parts of the web UI, work closely with product and design, and collaborate with backend engineers to deliver secure, scalable features used by real customers every day.
While this role is frontend-focused, you are expected to be comfortable working across the stack when needed, particularly around APIs, real-time data, and browser-level integrations such as Chrome extensions. Your work will directly impact usability, adoption, and trust in a security-focused product.
What You’ll Do
- Design, build, and maintain modern, responsive web applications using ReactJS
- Own complex frontend features end-to-end, from requirements and design review through implementation and iteration
- Develop and maintain Chrome extensions that extend and integrate with our core platform
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code in TypeScript
- Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to translate wireframes and prototypes into precise, accessible interfaces
- Implement robust state management and optimize rendering, load times, and runtime performance
- Integrate with REST APIs and WebSocket-based real-time services
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and consistent behavior across devices and screen sizes
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to shared frontend standards and best practices
- Proactively identify technical debt and suggest improvements to architecture, tooling, and developer experience
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of professional experience in frontend or full-stack web development
- Deep expertise in TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
- Strong, hands-on experience with React
- Demonstrated experience building and shipping Chrome extensions
- Solid understanding of state management patterns and component lifecycles
- Experience with modern build tools and bundlers (Webpack, Vite, or similar)
- Working knowledge of backend concepts and technologies (Node.js, Express, APIs)
- Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and real-time interfaces
- Strong attention to detail and a product mindset focused on usability and clarity
- Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with UI/UX tools and workflows (Figma, Sketch, design systems)
- Experience with data visualization libraries (D3.js, Chart.js, etc.)
- Exposure to AI-driven features or frontend integration of AI services
- Understanding of security concepts, browser security models, or SaaS security products
- Open-source contributions or personal projects that demonstrate frontend craftsmanship
Why Espresso Labs
- Work on a real, security-critical product used by businesses, not demos or experiments
- High ownership, minimal bureaucracy, and direct impact on product direction
- Strong engineering culture with an emphasis on quality, clarity, and pragmatism
- Opportunity to shape the frontend architecture as the platform scales
If you care deeply about frontend quality, enjoy working close to the product, and want your work to matter, we’d like to hear from you. Join us in reshaping the future of Security/IT management for the SMB world! To apply, please submit your resume, a brief cover letter explaining your interest in the role, and links to any relevant projects or contributions to: hiring@neuronos.ai
