From April 27 to 28, 2026 (9:30 AM, Giovanni Paolo II Lecture Hall), the C.S. Lewis Conference: Saying Man, Saying God will be held, organized by the International Study Forum "Poetics & Christianity" of the School of Communication in collaboration with the School of Theology.
The event aims to explore the thought and legacy of one of the most influential intellectuals of the 20th century. A philologist, theologian, writer, and essayist, author of the famous Chronicles of Narnia, Lewis deeply and clearly addressed the relationship between reason and faith, the meaning of human existence, and the role of storytelling in the search for truth.
His work intertwines fantasy, philosophy, and theological reflection into a unified and articulated vision: his essays and narrative works become a space for dialogue between imagination and religious truth, capable of addressing the concerns of contemporary man. The conference aims to be an opportunity to reflect on how his work continues to question, inspire, and nourish both believers and non-believers.
