Epsom Public Library offers a variety of in-person and online services to our patrons. For more information, contact us by either filling out our contact form, calling (603) 736-9920 or emailing us.
Books
Our library hosts a collection of over 20,000 books and has access to many other items through the NH State Library’s Interlibrary Loan system. All books may be checked out for a period of 3 weeks.
Free Internet Access
Our library provides free internet access within the building and from the parking lot. For access to the WIFI a password is required. The password is subject to change, so please inquire of any staff, or look for signage on the front door and throughout the library. You do not need to be a cardholder to use our WiFi.
Computers
Our library has 3 community desktop computers and one laptop for the public to use. The laptop must remain inside the library, but can be brought into different areas of the library. To use these computers, please check in with the library staff. Policies for use of the computers can be found here.
DVDs
Our library has a growing collection of CDs & DVDs for audiences of all ages. All movies can be checked out for a period of 7 days.
Magazines
Our library has subscriptions to approximately 40 different magazines which circulate for a period of 7 days. Back issues of magazines are kept for approximately one year. For our list of subscriptions look here.
Audiobooks
Our library has a growing collection of audiobooks and has access to many other items through the NH State Library’s Interlibrary Loan system. These materials may be checked out for a period of 3 weeks.
Large Print Books
Our library has a growing collection of large print books and has access to many other items through the NH State Library’s Interlibrary Loan system. All books may be checked out for a period of 3 weeks.
Photocopying
Our library hosts a photocopier available for public use; the fees for copies are as follows:
Black & White copies: first 5 are free; .15c per copy after that
Color copies: .30c per copy
Printing
Our library has access to printing with the use of the public computers. When printing; the first 5 pages are free, additional pages cost 15 cents per page b/w and 30 cents for color.
Interlibrary Loan
Our Library participates in the Interlibrary Loan system run by the NH State Library. Through this system our library has access to retrieving almost any material that our patrons may desire.
Library Passes
Our library has various passes available to museums and state parks. These passes are provided by the Friends of the Library, who help to fund projects that might not be available otherwise. Find more information on the library passes page.
Online Resources
Our library has a variety of online resources available for patrons. Some can be accessed from home and some only from within the library. Find more information regarding available services and how to use them on the library resources page.
Art Exhibits
Our library provides a place for local artists to display and/or sell their artwork. If you are a local artist who would like more information on displaying your art work, please contact the library at (603)736-9920.
Meeting Room
Our library has multiple spaces available for groups small or large. To reserve space, please contact the library. Please review the policies for these meetings to make sure your club or organization fit the criteria.
Food Pantry Donations
Our library is a location that collects donations for the Epsom food pantry.
Coffee
Our library provides a Keurig for public use. Coffee and tea are provided. Pay what you wish, or not at all.
Notary
Notary services are available free of charge. Please call ahead to verify availability.
Library of Things
We offer a “Library of Things” of over 15 items. Through this program you can take out a large variety of objects from cameras to canopy tents to cotton candy machines for free. Click here to see Epsom’s holdings.
