EPLAN License Client

EPLAN License Client is the workstation component that enables EPLAN applications to obtain and manage valid licenses. Developed by EPLAN Software & Service, it connects to local licenses or a central EPLAN License Server so users can start products such as EPLAN Electric P8, Pro Panel, and related modules without interruption. The client provides the runtime services and tools needed to activate or update licenses, configure server connections, and troubleshoot licensing issues—supporting both individual and multi-user environments.

Key capabilities:

• Connects to local, node-locked, or floating licenses on a network license server
• Supports borrowing/offline use of floating licenses when permitted by policy
• Lets users select and prioritize available licenses across EPLAN products
• Includes diagnostics and logging to resolve connectivity or license conflicts
