The EoE Day Alliance, is proud to launch World Eosinophilic Esophagitis Day (#EoEDay) a global awareness day dedicated to shining a light on Eosinophilic Esophagitis (EoE), a chronic and often underdiagnosed immune condition.
Taking place on May 22, 2026, this important milestone brings together patient organizations from around the world including Austria, Brazil, Spain, the USA, Australia, the UK, Italy, Switzerland, Israel, and Serbia, all working together to:

In the context of World Eosinophilic Esophagitis Day (EoE Day), celebrated every May 22nd, we welcome you to this special webinar organized to raise awareness and visibility of this disease. We will begin with a presentation on the EoE Day Alliance and the current global EoE landscape. Next, we will learn about AEDESEO, the Spanish patient association, and its main initiatives. Finally, we will feature renowned medical experts who will share the latest advances and knowledge on EoE through three specialized presentations.

AEDESEO is hosting a special family event on May 25 at 11:00 AM at Parque de La Vaguada, Madrid. The gathering will bring together patients, families, and supporters to connect, share experiences, and raise awareness through fun, inclusive activities like storytelling, face painting, badge-making, balloon art, and a live reading of the EoE Day Manifesto. The day will close with a vibrant batucada performance to fill the park with energy, rhythm, and visibility for EoE.
The goal is to create a space for connection, sharing experiences and strengthening the mutual support network that AEDESEO represents for people affected by EoE in Spain.
