It’s Time for G7 Leaders to Help the USA with its Trump Problem

mad-trump

As Donald Trump heads for the G7, having just offered to buy Greenland, I just wonder why he is even being allowed to go make his presence there. Is the G7 no longer serious? Now that planet needs climate coordination more than ever, they are allowing a major climate denier to show up and spout his destructive memes on the world stage? It makes no sense.

G7 leaders: If you are serious about global warming, blackball Donald Trump from the G7 now. It’s not too late. In fact, letting him take the trip and be turned away would be exactly what he deserves. Shaming him will help the GOP sellouts to turn on Trump. They are privately getting warm to the idea. But they are essentially cowards. Help them out. Make it happen.

This is an email-letter I wrote to then Prime Minister Teresa May in November 2017. It’s still apropos. Now, I believe the dignity and holiness of the G7 agenda is destroyed by the mere presence of the POTUS at the meetings. Boycott Donald Trump from the G7.

Teresa May,
I am one of the majority of Americans who feel democracy and science are now both under attack. .  It is a cyber attack, launched by criminal Russian Mafia players partnering with big money corporation.  Their goals are to hide their financial crimes and steer the world back in time, towards a neo-oligarchy where money alone rules – all to the detriment of 7 billion global citizens.

The weapons in this war are words. – To be silent is to not fight back and accept defeat.

In essence, Trump is an elected, mad king.

Donald Trump is fully willing to steer the world on a path to oblivion as long as he can keep his ill-got money and stay out of jail for his crimes over the years. And if he can’t win, he will blow the whole thing up trying. That is what we are witnessing right now, not only in world affairs, but in our domestic affairs as well.

There are now many here in the USA who want Trump out asap, even within the GOP. You and other world leaders can help in that effort with a statement you can fashion in your own words along these lines.

After Donald Trump became president, it soon became clear to me, as well as most sober people, that he was willing to lie to his own people, on a daily basis with no remorse.

I asked myself this: If Trump is willing to lie to his own people to “win”, as he calls it, then how can he be trusted to keep his deals and former agreements with foreigners?

The conclusion that I, and most world leaders have now reached is that Donald Trump cannot be trusted to be honorable.  The rulers of over 200 sovereign nations on this planet all know this down deep now.  This is not to say they don’t trust the good will of the American people. They do.

Only a fool would negotiate honestly with Donald Trump. He has proven that over and over again, first as a citizen and now as the US president.

Thank You my Dear American friends. We are here for you.

Something like that needs to be heard from Teresa May, Angela Merkel, Emmanuel Macron – and other respected world leaders. That way it won’t seem like partisan politics.

We are living in a world community now. Words started this war. Words can end it. Silence can not.

Trump counts on being the only one who is willing to make outrageous statements.
Yes, I realize what I wrote seems a bit outrageous. But if one person plays dirty, and the others play according to Hoyle, the cheater will usually win. That’s all Trump has ever known – cheating to win. I learned that from his casino operations in the 1980’s. I was there.

If you would say something sincere, along these lines, which I happen to believe is probably a fairly accurate portrayal of your stance on Trump, I do believe it will help us all on planet earth. We are mostly hoping he will soon be discharged of his duties.
We need some help from the world stage leaders, the way we helped 75 years ago.

I will be sending emails like this to the heads of state in Germany, Australia and Iran as well. Listen to what is being said this week on the news here in the USA.

I ask all global citizens to contact their presidents and senators. Let’s get this done.

The timing will be perfect now. No time to lose.  We have a genuine mad maniac in charge here now. Hitler was such a maniac. He was elected as well, by a similar distraught electorate as well.

Etymology teaches us: The MA in maniac is the same ma that is in drama. It means large – as in major, mad and magnify. The mad, maniacal drama we are witnessing since Trump took the helm is the exact opposite of the cool-handed leadership we sorely need right now. Trump is like a hot fuse in a room filled with nitroglycerin. A simple unintended accident now and the word goes boom.

All it will take to win this war of words, is words. No bombs, no bullets, no troops. How nice, right? We need influential people to deliver some thoughtful heartfelt words to the world stage. GOP politicians here will soon realize they will mostly be voted out of power in 2018. And to the GOP I say, it’s not for “not repealing Obama-care that you will fall. It is because you stand with the mad king, Donald Trump, in spite of what you know to be true: Donald Trump is a dunce, a sell-out and a traitor.

We can do this world. Thank you for your careful consideration to this plan and for circulating it. We are all global citizens. We all have a stake in peace. I am just trying to do what I can as a citizen. I hope that is appreciated. JA

Stay Strong Stormy! You May Have the Right to Speak – Regardless of Prior “Hush” Agreements

I believe an argument can be made that a US president has absolutely no right to silence its citizen’s unless the information is deemed classified for national security reasons.

danielsWhat follows is a copy of an email I just sent to Stormy Daniel’s lawyer in Newport CA.  It also exposes a potential slippery slope, where Trump ends up having the right to silence anyone who speaks out against him. It’s a small step in his imagined plan to never step out of the presidency, because he knows when he loses his presidential protections, the good people of the world will see him out and put him where he belongs … with Bernie Madoff.

To Stormy Daniels and her lawyer, Michael Avenatti

Consider this:

Citizen Donald Trump had a right to speak outrageous falsehoods about Barack Obama’s birthplace. Had Obama not been president, Obama could have sued Trump for those false statements. But Trump had the right to say whatever he wanted about president Obama, whether true or false. Obama lost the protection afforded American citizens when he stepped inside the political ring. (I think it goes back to the burning in effigy laws.)

I believe an argument can be made that a US president has absolutely no right to silence its citizens unless the information is deemed classified for national security reasons.

Let me also advance an example from the business contract world. After all, Stormy’s lawyers are challenging a business agreement.  When Trump was a citizen, if one wanted to make a Donald Trump wig there would be laws to protect Trump from such manufacture without compensating him. He would also have a right to stop such production, if he so chose.

But the day Trump threw his hat in the ring, those citizen’s rights disappeared. Indeed, at Halloween many Donald Trump wigs suddenly appear for sale everywhere.  And Trump can’t ask for a penny. He has transitioned to a public figure.

The “in order to” clauses that underpin the laws that give citizens rights to say anything they want about their political leaders anticipated the potential of an authoritarian president. This right was designed as a check on the potential abuse of power. It’s why speech is a right. The reason we have freedom of speech is to speak out against authoritarian leaders. Those rights were created for the same reasons our second amendment rights were created – to protect us from tyrannical rulers. And that right to speak about a public figure can’t be bargained away from a lawful US citizen.

We don’t yet know if the contract with Stormy Daniels will ultimately found to be legal – but I am not sure it has to matter. An argument can be made that when a person transitions to the office of the president, any prior promise made to not speak about said president is no longer binding.

President Trump is simply not the same entity as citizen Trump. The rights, protections and powers that apply to citizen Trump do not necessarily apply to president Trump.

In the US, a citizen can say almost anything they want about their politicians or their president, just the way Trump did about Barack Obama!  That’s how our founders wanted it here in the USA. And no one can agree to give away one’s constitutional rights.

So even if the powers in control find the “hush” contract valid for citizen Trump, an agreement not to speak should not apply to a sitting president. There is support for this in our constitution, common law and contractual law.

There could be another reason Stormy should be able to say whatever she wants about Trump: one cannot enforce an agreement to conceal a crime. I won’t pretend to know if trying to hide an affair three days before a presidential election was some sort of crime, or was part of some crime or pattern of crimes.  But it sure seems to be part of a cover-up, which is a crime.

Kindly consider these lines of logic and feel free to get back to me in solidarity and or get this to people where it can really matter. If it fails some sort of smell test I don’t know about, let me know so I can correct my blog entry with your knowledge of the law.

Finally, it seems to me that if Stormy has something to say and leaks it all out in one publication, a million dollars would be cheap price to pay.  It could easily be raised from a few donors or a gofundme campaign.

Stormy. Stay strong for all of us!

Trump’s Main Problem: Cheating To Win

If Trump had won the 2016 election fairly he would have had no need to fire Comey, which begat Mueller. Had Trump not been a cheater at heart, Russia would not now be on his mind nearly every waking moment. And then he might actually have had a chance to be a decent president.

The word “one” hides inside the words honest and honor. Healthy humans don’t feel inner peace hiding lies.  Mature, healthy humans eventually learn honesty is the best policy. But Donald Trump has never learned that simple life lesson. He had never had to. Trump has gotten away with being dishonest all his life – until now.

I knew Trump from U of P. He was a rich, big city playboy type. In our one common Wharton School class, International Finance, he rarely showed up. When I inquired about that, I discovered out he was paying a classmate to do his work for him, and that his dad was a big contributor to Penn.  I was told “don’t worry about Donny”. I still remember those exact words. I was made to feel like I was out of my league for even asking.

I was a sophomore, when Donny was a senior. We all knew his dad was very rich. I got into Penn on a scholarship. Not sure if my dad could have afforded Penn without that. But paying for homework is a form of cheating, is it not? And is that not sort of what the college admission scandal was all about?

trump-cardTrump CHEATED in AC

In the 1980’s, I was a jeweler on the AC Boardwalk and a very skillful blackjack player. Given the chance to play fairly, I could usually emerge with a small win. I was never a high-roller, but I can still memorize 52 cards, a skill I developed originally from playing gin rummy.

No casino came down harder on skilled players than Trump’s Plaza. They even told the cocktail servers not to serve the card-counters any drinks – not even water. Trump’s staff used to make up stories about skilled players, saying they use foul language, so they could throw them out for a cause on the books.

The Trump Plaza security staff accidentally killed one card counter when they “tazed” him and he had a pacemaker. I know the lawyer in AC that still has those details.

Anyone who is wealthy enough to own a casino, and is not willing to win and lose by the rules of the game they publish, is a cheater – because they are willing to change the rules of the game to win.

Trump often uses the word losers, something he also learned from his casino days. Trump always had to be the winner. Everyone else was a loser. That’s how Trump still sees people. Privately, Trump views his own MAGA folk as losers. Trump is on record saying, “We love the poorly educated”- a way of saying we like our supporters blind to what we do behind their backs.

Trump also cheated to win when he stiffed the contractors that built the casinos that made him a fortune. Awash in cash, he declared bankruptcy and moled his cash to foreign banks to avoid paying his fair share of taxes. These money-laundering schemes connected him to international financial criminals and the Russian mafia. Cheating to avoid taxes started Trump on a trail that eventually connected him to Vladimir Putin.

Donald Trump has been cheating to win his entire life. He even warned us of this on the campaign trail. “What does it all matter if I don’t win?”

Trump is still trying to cheat to win – even today. It’s what he knows best. He cries “fake news” when the truth is published. He has never really lost by cheating. Yes, he paid off the Trump University folks whom he cheated with false advertising – and women like Story Daniels – but he came out way ahead in those deals. Now Trump is now trying to cheat justice. It’s why it’s called obstruction of justice. And maybe, for the first time in his life, he won’t get away with it.

I don’t think Congress as a whole will help Trump obstruct justice. He may have dragged some congressmen into the swamp with him, but there are over 600 congresspeople. He can’t drag them all down. And the generals won’t go there. They have had their own gig here for 250 years.  They won’t let Trump spoil that, and they shouldn’t. It feels like the truth will come out soon. I guess we will see soon.

Had Trump wad won the 2016 election fairly he would have had no need to fire Comey, which begat the Mueller Investigation. It was the cheater in Trump that instructed him to find a bribery-friendly sold out DA, Bill Barr – who should also be impeached in due time. Had Trump not been a cheater at heart, Ukraine and quid pro quo would not now be on his mind every waking moment. Had he not been a life-long cheater he might actually have had a chance to be a decent president. But alas, cheating to win has been Donald Trump’s modus operandi. He knows no other way.

After Trump tried to hold the 2020 G7 meeting at his now failing Doral County Club, Nick Mulvaney, his acting Secretary of State, said Donald Trump is in the hospitality business at heart. We get that. It could be argued that Trump was pretty good at that game, and maybe he longs to get back into it.

But if he wanted to stay in the hotel business, why did he even run for president? Did he really now know that eventually the truth about his life-long cheating would come out in the highly scrutinized office of President. But if you watch Trump’s body motion as he came to the stage with family to accept the win when Hillary conceded, you can see Donald was very wary about that had just happened. Trump knew what he coordinated with Putin in the election. He just got away with cheating to win again. But something told him he crossed a line. His father probably warned him to stay out of the limelight when cheating. Fred Trump was careful that way.

And so now, Donald Trump has absolutely no chance at all to be a decent president – or even a decent man. And we all pretty much know that. Even his base knows this down deep. The American people are not stupid losers the way he thinks.

To Donald with love,

Donald. It’s not the media. It’s not Pelosi and Schiff. It’s not Congress. It’s not the fake news. It’s you Donny. You have been a lifelong cheater. It started young. And maybe it is about to catch up with you at last. Fess up and make a deal to step down? Well that’s not you, is it? We don’t expect that maturity from you. We expect you will keep fighting and lying to the American people, concealing your taxes, abusing your power by instructing congresspeople to disrespect lawful subpoenas – obstructing justice at every turn.

The best thing that could happen to you, your family (and us) is that you actually get caught for cheating, leave the office of president and pay something for your crimes. But you still don’t know that do you? It’s never to late to turn over a new leaf – if you are sincere about it.

Then you could redeem yourself and perhaps rededicate your life to a selfless noble cause. Consider becoming a philanthropist, like Bush, Gates and Bill Clinton have done, at least to some degree. You will still have plenty of money left. You will be fine. Really. Just like that classmate said in 1967. It might even feel good to you. I say this with love for a fellow traveler on this earth. We are all the same – trying to make sense out of nonsense that way.

Make a deal to step down and not get caught too bad. You could say your feet hurt – again. Pardon my sarcasm. But you could devise one last lie and say you have to step down for health reasons. Right now, we’d take that. Just to spare us the Tarantino film ending this is likely to unravel into.
