THE ENGLISH CODE

Millions of people get their media information online today. There’s no longer any telling if what they are tuned to is fact or fiction. Though we receive political communication from the top down, we still largely engage in political communication in small social circles. And the act of voting is considered private business to be discussed only in small social circles. The workplace is not generally deemed appropriate to discuss politics. OK. So set that aside and consider this. 

Last weekend Fareed Zakaria lauded Hit Makers, a new book by Derek Thompson that describes why some phenomena catch on and others don’t. His study concludes that familiarity is the single largest contributor to the chance that something will be widely accepted.

The following may be viewed as sad news, but its undeniable that Donald Trump spoke in a way that seemed familiar to more people than Hillary did. Bernie Sanders also campaigned in what could be called “plain speak”, even though his message was completely different than Trump’s.  

I have long argued that familiarity is super-important not only to humans but to all animals because unfamiliarity can be downright dangerous. This is an excerpt from my book “Deciphering the English Code” (2015) which unravels the prehistoric roots of langauge with simple logic anyone can understand.

[page 125] It seems to me, that this binary method of cataloging information, first by the general attribute, then on to the specific, is simply the way that human brains decipher all information. Nature does not create many mistakes that survive over the years, so there likely is an important reason that the order of human information processing proceeds from “large to small” or from “general to specific”.

Imagine that you hear animal footsteps coming your way from the rear. First, you need to make a fast snap judgment about what you are seeing or hearing. Identifying something quickly might save your life. Then, if you have time, you can get more specific with the details. “You snooze, you lose” has been true for a long time. 

For instance, dogs smell first and then learn more by looking and licking. With multiple senses, one sense gets the big information first and then other senses add layers of information.|

In the above scenario, which occurs every millisecond in the world of small living things, an unfamiliar sound is indeed downright dangerous. That same primordial way of recognizing things in layers – from large details to smaller – has been transferred up the chain from the smallest microbes to humans by Darwinian survival of the fittest processes.  This is precisely why familiarity is the main path to wide acceptance. Once illuminated, it’s a simple understandable concept.

Last night, I attended Adam Schiff’s town hall on climate change at Cal Tech Pasadena.  Three earth scientists were speakers and presented documented scientific evidence that in 20-30 years there could 100 days above 95 degrees in Pasadena if we ignore climate change and continue on our merry current path. The summers would be so long we would have to redefine the seasons. 

Adam Schiff is a politician who understands the importance of acting now to prevent an environment that will be seriously hostile to human life for those born after 1980. That’s imminent enough, right? Adam also understands the power of simple straight-forward speak. He comes across like someone you could meet in the grocery store and have a chat with. 

“People in Congress pay attention to this and I think it demonstrates that the country is not going to sit still while the administration or the Congress dismantles these important efforts to combat climate change. It really resonates,” Schiff said.

And when they got to Q&A, the town’s people asked what could be done to reach average Americans and Trump supporters about the seriousness of the impending dangers of climate change. Some suggested things like advertising agencies to sell these ideas the way they sell products like soap. Making environmental protection sexy echoed in the room. Adam Schiff reminded folks of the ripple effect of personal action and urged everyone to stay vocal and active on the particular issues they were most passionate about. 

Let’s face it. Donald Trump fooled enough Americans to contend with a person who was clearly more qualified and experienced to be POTUS. His use of plain language, I dare say even his famous “grab them by the p*ssy” statement, had a tone that reminded many of the way things go down in their private and innermost circles. 

And that’s what Hillary lacked most. It always felt like she was talking at people, not with people. In the end, her messages clearly had wider appeal than Trump’s, but that did not matter as much as her not sounding like a straight talker. She did not seem familiar to average folks.

We hear a lot of post mortem on this election and about how Hilary did not have a “unifying national message” that we could hang on to. But even had she found that message, if she had delivered it the same way she communicated in her 2016 campaign, it probably would not have resounded. Her delivery was not familiar and familiarity prevails. Great salesmen all know this. This is why Trump got close enough to register a win. I’m not at all convinced that he would have won without help from the Russians. She only lost by 72,000 votes.  That’s not 1%. It’s one-tenth of 1%.

We all sort of know the importance of plain speak. Of course. Have you ever encountered someone from another language and found yourself making your best attempt to speak English the way you think an ESL student from that person’s native land would? I know I have. I attempt to bridge the communication gap, as best I can, by speaking at least some degree of broken or ESL English. I intentionally avoid large words. I do all this because I inherently know this works. When facing a communication barrier, we all strive to sound more familiar to our listeners.

In Trump-speak everything is great, wonderful or terrific. In his case, if he once had a way of speaking that sounded more mature or educated, he abandoned it long ago. I don’t think he presently has a firm enough command of the English language to consider choosing more refined descriptive words. Trump’s plain-speak is literally a no-brainer.

And this also why Bernie and Biden must stay healthy and consider runs in 2020. The stakes are way too high to  f*** around with an unproven candidate. In fact, I dare say they should even consider running together, with a young Secretary of State, third in the presidential survivor chain, so the old age thing does not become too strong a factor. Biden has been famous for plain speak since he came on political scene. And Bernie, with his down-home Brooklynese charm, comes across like someone you could chat with on a subway or an uncle you’d like to have in your family. Bernie also has the populist “take our country back from the billionaires” message that resounds with more and more Americans these days. He’s only four years older than Donald Trump and probably in much better shape. Hey Donald, would you like to go a round in the ring with Bernie? 

So it’s not Chuck Schumer or Nancy Pelosi that should be center stage for the resistance. Their hearts may be in the right place, but they do sort of come off as elitists. Perez and Ellison also miss that mark. 

But its yes to folks like nerdy representative Adam Schiff and fiesty senator Elizabeth Warren. 

What a ticket that would be, huh?

Why is the heat on Bannon suddenly? This is easy folks. If you read my blog posts, I pointed out the logic of why the Russians could not approach Trump directly. They needed a go-between. If you missed it, its here:

The Russians were seeking to disrupt our elections and found Bannon. Bannon introduced the Russians to Trump. For this help, Bannon was put and kept on Trump’s cabinet, in spite of Ivanka’s protests, because Bannon knows all the dirt on Trump – and that can’t be allowed to get out.

The problem for Bannon now is that he could be on some sort of hit list. Watch what you eat Steve. He may soon need to seek exile.  To stay ahead of this, the FBI should arrest Bannon asap –  and offer him that exile for the truth. 

So yes, Trump is distancing himself from Bannon because he’s getting ready to say         “Bannon did not tell me about the Russians”. Puh-lease! We can’t buy this. Trump is either incompetent of complicent. And logic says complicent. He practically told us this on the campaign trail, Either way, he should be impeached for gross negligence or  being complicent. 

Bannon is soon going to be Trump’s fall guy for the Russian connection. He’s already distanced himself from Maniford and Stone, so he’s probably less worried about them. A “don” has to keep his potential enemies even closer than his friends.

When the snow melts the sh*t will show is a rough translation of a Russian proverb.

Go tax day!

I know Donald Trump personally. I went to school with Trump – Wharton School, 1968. He paid for his “International Finance” homework at age 20! He never even studied. 

Now he is president. We must not get distracted. We must stay on point. We must stay vocal.

We have an illegitimate president in the oval office. This is not a sore loser thing. Sore loser is a GOP meme. Donald Trump practically told us he was playing ball with the Russians on the campaign trail. We can all hear and see the difference between when he’s selling and when he’s being honest.

When Trump said things like “ It all does not matter unless you win” – he was being honest. He was telling us he was willing to do anything to win, just as he has done all his life. When Trump said “ I love WikiLeaks” he was telling us his campaign was playing ball with WikiLeaks (Russian) and that he knew it was going to favor him. When he said “Russia, if you are listening, I wish you would release Hillary Clinton’s emails” that did not come from a vacuum. That statement itself is an act of espionage! He used the word “if” as cover – because he knew Russia was already listening and that Putin was doing things for him. After the election, when Trump told his own supporters “I don’t need your vote anymore” he was voicing his realization that he could do anything he wanted now. Yes he can. But only if we let him stay president. 

For the last four months I’ve been crafting a song that embodies the task ahead of us. And now he’s waiving a gun is a lyric in that song because I knew this is the way its going to go. It always goes to war. There is hard evidence the Russians knew ahead of time that the attack on Syria was coming. Of course Trump had to warn his campaign ally!  And North Korea is also in bed with Russia. They share a border, a railroad, and where do you think they get their nuclear technology from? So all this war tension is just posturing. Kim Jong-un is a spoiled brat like Donald Trump was. He does not want to ruin his cushy lifestyle any more than Trump does. 

Today we must all come out of the shadows. There is a way out of this, but if we are silent nothing will change. It starts with indicting Donald Trump’s campaign players for treason in our election. Of course he put a friend in as Attorney General in anticipation of this.  (Hurry up Adam Schiff and stay safe! )

I still believe when he asked Russia to play ball with him, (Russia, if you are listening …)  and we found out they were indeed doing that, that was indeed treason under the Espionage Act. This stuff can just keep happening over and over again if we don’t call this treason.

So why is Trump now waiving a gun?

Because he wants to change the subject! We were getting too close to the truth on the Russian election hack. ( And we can’t handle the truth, right? ) But notice how Russia-gate is off the news a bit suddenly. His distractions are working.

Did a few Syrian babies die for this? Are these the “not-so-innocent” killers Trump spoke of? Is our president a de-facto Russian patsy? The Russians may have even arranged the gassing of those babies as a favor to Donald Trump, to change the subject. “Sick!” (Pardon my DT Twitter stylization.)

If you want to know why, Donald Trump got trapped by Putin, read my prior posts. It all goes back to Atlantic City in the 1980’s. That’s where he first met the Russian bankers and he started washing his casino cash. The locals all witnessed young Trump partying with Russians – women and men –  in the 1980’s. he started his secret banks accounts back then. That’s why he can’t show his taxes. The trail goes back.

Stay vocal. Do get get distracted. We must impeach our bankster Russian patsy president. By the way, when he said it could be eight years he was not kidding. They are working on that too. War will keep him in power. Then it won’t just be Syrian babies dying. 

When and if he gets impeached – every appointee he made has to go as well. Are they not all illegtimate if they are appointed by a Russian patsy? We don’t need an environmental protection czar that dismantles what it was created to do. We did not give him that authority. Etc, etc.

And it’s not “America First”, it should be “Americans First”. Notice the subtle difference. America First feels like we are fighting the world for resources. Americans First is just supporting our own people.  Their health care bill and pro-billionaire tax plan prove that the Trump and the GOP are not about American’s first. Does this GOP healthcare bill feel like it supports Americans to you? Not! 

Trump does not care about Americans. He never did. We are all Trump University suckers to him. Let’s prove him wrong.

Donald, I have been hard on you, but there have been reasons.

And I do wish I could be proud of you – after all we were classmates at Penn. For whatever reasons, you thought of people as objects on your life. We all have that problem in varying degrees. No one is perfect and the desire for money can make us do things that are truly insensitive and not kind. People do prey on other people. It is programmed into humans. We get that.

Remember American babies when you consider healthcare. 

The gassing of babies got to you. We all saw that. But remember that when you allow people lose their healthcare, they can end up dead too – and so too for their babies. You are in charge of the health and education of Amecian babies more than you know. Paul Ryan does not have your sensitivity. 

Maybe ..just maybe, you will decide to use your time left on Earth to undo the harm you have done to others in your youthful, lustful past. I won’t enumerate here. You know who you’ve hurt better than we do. 

But we all deserve a second chance – and, to use your word sense “What a second chance opportunity you really have.” I wish myself I had such a second chance to clear up my legacy.  No one is perfect. We are all young and dumb at some time. Don’t waste your second chance at redemption. You won’t get another chance at this. Your legacy does need to be redeemed and if you do it right this time, it really will be. 

You don’t need more money!

Your goal should be closer to Gates or Buffet – to distibute your wealth back to others – and yes, even others out of your family – they have enough. No one needs more money than a billion – or maybe even 250,000 million. At some point, it looks like greed disease. It becomes very ungodly. Start being charitable. It’s not that hard. If your accountants and lawyers tell you this does not make economic sense, tell them you’ve turned over a new leaf. They work for you, right? Call Bill Gates on this. He got “religion” on charity, and he is no dummy. He knows why. If you don’t yet, ask him.

Step one is … get rid of Bannon!

His appointment was made by you at a time your were afraid of the “bus” you just caught. He got you there, so you followed the business code and kept him close. Are you past that intitial insecurity yet? You might be. Or does Bannon have too much dirt on you and you cant shake fully free of him? If that is the case, a demotion – some distance without destroying him, would be advisable. 

I can tell you this with 100% surety. Nothing you have done has alienated more Americans than the appointment of Bannon. If you were able to fire Bannon, you would see the center of America start giving you a real chance. And then you might be able to start doing some real good in the USA. No one with any brains likes Bannon. He has not reached your point in life and his goals are not yours or American’s goals. You are still perceived as a person who is under the thumb of Steve Bannon. That has to change if you are going to be perceived as a wise ruler.

That’s also true of Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell. They are petty beings with personal wealth goals and they administrate that way. But one step at a time.

Slow down. Be thoughtful. Think of your legacy. One’s legacy lives on when their bodies are gone. It’s one way we perpetuate ourselves. 

We all deserve a second chance.

Scott Pruitt, Trump’s EPA Head threw out the science on banning Lorsban as a health hazard to humans.  You decide if Pruitt is an honest player. (Say Scott! I propose you eat some apples sprayed with Lorsban yourself. Do it right on youtube so we all can see.)

Lorsban:
If swallowed: Call a poison control center or doctor immediately for treatment advice. Have a person sip a glass of water if able to swallow. Do not induce vomiting unless told to do so by a poison control center or doctor. Do not give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.

If in eyes: Hold eye open and rinse slowly and gently with water for 15-20 minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present, after the first 5 minutes, then continue rinsing eye. Call a poison control center or doctor for treatment advice.

Note to Physicians: Chlorpyrifos is a cholinesterase inhibitor. Treat symptomatically. If exposed, plasma and red blood cell cholinesterase tests may indicate significance of exposure (baseline data are useful). Atropine, only by injection, is the preferable antidote.

Oximes, such as 2-PAM/protopam, may be therapeutic if used early; however, use only in conjunction with atropine. In case of severe acute poisoning, use antidote immediately after establishing an open airway and respiration.

Environmental Hazards

It should be clear that Trump and his crew do not care about anything but dollars. Unfortunately that has been Trump’s lifelong way. A very shallow person. Let’s show him the door please America.

To those who voters for him, it’s OK to admit you made a mistake. We don’t blame you. We made a mistake with Hillary too, OK? But you have kids right? They are not going to forgive you unless you help right the wrong. And you can do it. Just stay vocal about what you really want for yor kids future. Government should be all about protecting the future – not fattening the wallets of the players.

If the GOP goes nuclear and forces Gorsuch on the United States, there will be yet another backlash from the left. It’s inevitable. Well over 50% of Americans feel that the GOP’s refusal to consider Garland was an unconstitutional act. The meaning of “constitution” is literally “stand together”. What was “standing together” about refusing to consider Merrick Garland? Ignoring our rules and 50% of Americans was not a good idea for Republicans or Americans. That still sits at the center of the divide in the USA. We all know that. And then the GOP will go nuclear to force fascism on all Americans. That’s the only plan they have. 

People talk about peace deals. Peace in the Middle East always seems to represent the hardest peace deal imaginable. But right now, it’s peace in the USA that we need that more than peace in the Middle East. And it’s not easy.

But this is how to do it. … Baby steps.

Gorsuch for Garland

We’ll let you have Gorsuch if you will put Garland in simultaneously, making it temporarily ten justices – or – make it firm that when the first justice retires, and that seems to be something that could happen soon, Garland would be automatically inserted. Think now about how far that would go to getting us to work together again. It’s huge! 

 

Who among us thinks this is a bad idea? Richard Painter, ethics advisor to George W. Bush is now on board via tweet and added an important addendum:

60 votes needed for SCOTUS from now on – so this does not happen again. So that’s the complete package SCOTUS DEAL. 

To make peace you have to be willing to give to get. Same thing with love, right? This is a solution that all Americans can support. It’s a first step in the process of making internal peace here in the US. Remember, its the Russians who don’t want us to function as a democracy. It was one of their goals in their cyberhack efforts.

Senator Warren and McCain:

It would be so easy for any president to just submit his taxes if he has nothing to hide. Owing to the circumstantial evidence that clearly shows many ties between Russia and Trump, why should not Democrats and Republicans put this memo out?

When and if Trump shows his taxes, if all is clear – we will indeed work with him.

The reason for this should be clear to all Americans, regardless of their affiliation.  

If Donald Trump ends up being found guilty or complicit of espionage, would not his cabinet picks be invalid choices as well?

Per our rules, we would have to restart with Pence – and if Pence is found involved, then it would be Ryan as POTUS. And then it would be new president’s picks, not Trump’s, that are truly valid. We can’t have a traitor, or a traitor’s chosen people, running our government, can we?

So, until we know Trump is clean, why are we bothering with these cabinet picks? We will just have to redo them if he is guilty. Tillerson, Sessions, Ross – and others – could and should be found as invalid operators if Trump is guilty. First things first!

Americans all of stripes – know this! We are in unusual times facing a formidable enemy – Russia/Putin. Trump’s taxes are a shortcut to gaining some knowledge about the Trump/Russian connections because there would be trails there for years going back – going back to a time when Trump was not even thinking of being President.   

In these unusual times, with Russians hacking and affecting our elections, Trump has a patriot’s duty, and an obligation as part of his sworn oath to protect America, to show his taxes and clear the air – if indeed it can be cleared. Trump asks that young men make the ultimate sacrifice for our country. This is the least he can do!

And until he makes that gesture, and clears that air, absolutely no bill that Trump presents, nor person that he appoints, can be trusted as having been advanced with clean intentions for all American citizens.  

Practically speaking, released taxes would also save us all months, if not years, of very costly investigations as well. Americans – not DEMS or GOPs –  cannot afford to risk the potential that we are dealing with a compromised President and executive team!  That would be the ultimate war would it not? A war lost without a shot fired! We can’t risk that America.

Regardless of any laws on the books about tax release, owing to the fact the FBI has now found that our elections were hacked by Russians to benefit Trump, Trump must now release his taxes for the good of the country and as a patriot’s duty.

Until he does, we really cannot work with him on anything – because we don’t know who we are really working with. Even the staunchest Trump supporter should have no problem with that simple request.

When things don’t ring true, you have to ask yourself why. I know Trump is loose with his mouth and does not care if people think he is wreckless. But  now that the truth has come out that Trump was not wiretapped, you have to ask yourself why he put us all through this. Maybe he had a reason? I don’t take him for a total fool. We should not do that. We see where that got us. 

And now, I think I know why this happened. It’s the only thing that makes any sense. 

Trump alone knows how dirty he has been all his adult life with respect to the business company he keeps and why he does the things he does. Maybe he had to know if he was wiretapped because if he was, then he would know 100% that he was going down, and he could make plans to escape. Maybe his foreign partners had to know too, to continue to work with him.  And maybe not knowing if they had been wiretapped just made everyday life unbearable for Trump and his entire team, here and abroad.  

But Trump could not just ask if he was wiretapped. That would seem too suspicious. And if he told his foreign buddies that he was not wiretapped, why would they believe him? They know 100% he is an unremorseful liar. Thats’s what they like about him. What to do?

So they framed this silly story that Obama was a sick man and wiretapped Trump, knowing full well the media would demand that the FBI investigate this. They knew we would ask for that to be (un)verified – and then the real truth would come out. Trump set us up to do his dirty work for him. (This had be be Bannon. It started in his paper.) But how dumb were we not to see this until now?

And now the truth has come out. And now Trump knows that all the dirt that could have been captured on his phones last year – is gone with the wind. The coast is clear! Trump did not get caught red-handed yet.(Pardon that pun.)  A sigh of relief echoes in halls of Trump Tower and the Kremlin.  We did them a favor! Yes, Trump played the media … again! 

So now Trump and his comrades know that something indelible did not happen to them. And they can semi-safely resume plans. That is the net effect of all this, is it not? We all knew Obama would never do this. We did not need this proof. Nothing else was learned. Who benefits from that knowledge?  Trump and his foreign friends! So …

Media: Please stop covering this wiretap story immediately! “It’s a ruse”.

Get back to getting his taxes.

Citizens: Continue to demand his taxes.  If he wants Gorsuch, we want his taxes. Let’s see how much he really cares about America. A person who cared and was clean would not keep his taxes under lock and key, if releasing them could benefit the country, would he?

We can’t support a potentially foreign agent on anything. Not one thing. Boycott all things Trump until he shows his taxes in full form. He will never willingly do this. Trump will send young people in best parts of their lives to fight and die for our country, to make the ultimate sacrifice, but Trump won’t even give as much as a tax release for his country. Really folks? Even you who voted for Trump, dont you see his innate cowardice in this all? You know he was a draft dodger, don’t you? He is still that man at heart!

Now if Trump does release his taxes, then yes, I would accord him all the respect a true president deserves. And if he has been honest, it would be so easy to do. That minimal sacrfice would gain him immediate respect – respect he sorely needs to push ahead any agenda he expects to get done.  

But he can’t do it, can he? So until he does, continue to treat him as an illegimate president who coordinated with a foreign body to rig elections here in the USA. Everything is pointing that way. It’s coming out that it was not just the national elections that were hacked. They rigged the house too. Other GOP leaders are likely involved. And those house seats can get them the supreme court too. Don’t let that happen. It walks and quacks like that traitorous duck is amongst us.  

 

 

I’ve been saying this for the last 100 days:

Trump’s taxes are the main trail we need to indict him for espionage and he knows that. That’s why he has surrounded himself with the likes of Paul Maniford, clearly a Russian liaison, Sessions, sworn to protect Trump not the American people, Tillerson, a known friend to Putin seeking to drill for oil in Russia, and now Ross, the master money launderer for illegal money Russian bankers.

The following is from Silence of The Lambs. When Hannibal tells Starling how to catch Buffalo Bill he discloses valuable principles to employ when seeking the truth about criminals. I’ve put in paranthesis words that make this relevant to the current Trump/Russia puzzle. 

Hannibal Lector: First principles, Clarice. Simplicity. Read Marcus Aurelius. Of each particular thing, ask what is it in itself? What is its nature? What does he do, this man you seek? ( you seek to expose?)

Starling: – He kills women. ( He lies.)

Lector: No. That is incidental! What is the first thing he does? What needs does he serve by killing? ( … by lying. )

Starling: Anger. Social acceptance.- Sexual frustrations. – (Sexual Frustration. A need to beloved.  Criminal activity.)

Lector: No! … We begin by coveting what we see every day. (No! … we begin covering up the truth about the things we do every day.)  ….

And what does Trump do everyday? He runs businesses. He started by being a builder, but went into a cash business in the 1980’s – casinos. That was his Hannibal Lector moment. He became a person who wanted to hide cash from the government in the 1980’s. He even bragged about it on the campaign trail. As a builder, there is not much cash. As a casino and hotel operator, there is. And that’s where Russia came into his life. 

I had businesses in AC like Trump in the 80’s and was familiar with him personally from a class we were in at Penn. No way he lost a billion in AC in the 1980’s. He would never let that happen. And no other casino operator lost  money like that in the 1980’s. It was a boom!  Ask the locals. Ask the retired lawyers who are about his age. AC was a very small town when Trump came there. There were only so many law firms.  We all knew each other, often from grade school. No one lost money running casinos until 2001.
Look at the books of nearby Caesars and Bally’s or Golden Nugget.

So this is what actually happened.

Trump’s sister was married to the lawyer who defended Crazy Eddie, a convicted tax cheat.
Trump learned about the Crazy Eddie cash scam, but he did it smarter – he stashed cash into Russian banks. Now, Trump can’t let those Russian bank liaisons be known. As a businessman, he could have hid this dirt forever and he had no idea he would win the presidency and be subject to all this press and scrutiny. So Trump absolutlely needs to surround himself to people who are sworn to secrecy for him. The Russians have him essentially blackmailed for those illegal bank accounts,  and by now, for many other things, including hacking the election. It’s very obvious. 

We can’t have a president who is indebted to Putin or under his thumb in any way. Trump has to be impeached. Sessions is not the target folks. He is a pawn, put there to protect the king. The king is the target folks. Is it Trump or Putin? Or both?

I’m speaking now to the voters who put Trump in and to the voting  system that allowed this to happen. We have all been misled by an unwitting Manchurian candidate. Putin calls that a useful idiot. Trump will never be able to take an opposing view from Putin –
for fear that they put out the truth on him. Hence, Trump’s cabinet picks are actually Putin’s picks – and whatever Putin wants, he will get from president Trump.  Putin has effectively put in ( pardon the pun ) the president of the United States. 

This is why Trump will not show his taxes. They show the original trail to Russia.. As a businessman, this may have been fine ( though no one is sure about that ), but as a president this association is treasonous.

This is also why Trump can’t put his kids out of his businesses. The Trump’s can’t reveal their longstanding dirt with Russia to anyone. No trust is blind enough for the Trumps.

We Need Discovery to Reveal Trump’s Taxes

We certainly have probable cause for collusion with Russians on the election.  Trump said “Russia, if you are listening” on the campaign trail. We know many of his cabinet men have Russian connections, and during the campaign as well. We know they hacked the election for Trump. What else do we really need?

I have been out of AC for a long time. But I was there on the ground floor in AC when Trump started his cash business career. I saw him having lunch with Russian men with suitcases 30 years ago. It proves nothing, I know. But like the Silence of the Lambs example, this is where the investigation of Russia/Trump should start  – at the beginning of the crimes.  And that starts with his taxes.  I believe he has been hiding cash in foreign banks for a long time. And that is why he can’t show his taxes. 

Jeff Sessions is just a pawn in Trump’s game. What does a pawn do? It protects the king. That was why Trump put him in. But Sessions is not what we seek.  Ask Mitt Romney what the job interview with him was all about. I’m going to ask him today. It’s all about protecting the king’s dirt, and Romney would not do it. A good enough man. Thank you Mitt. 

Now we just need those taxes. I would even go so far as to say that the Democrats will support some of his policies, if he will show his taxes. Does he love America enough to show his taxes? Not. Trump would resign from office rather than reveal his taxes.

#1 Someone with authority needs to formally and publicly ask Trump if he will release his forthwith– as part of the Russian connection under the Espionge Act and demand an answer within 24 hours. Watch what happens after that. 

#2. Under the powers under the Espionage Act, ask the IRS to privately reveal DT’s taxes to proper agencies, as they will be needed for a thorough investigation of the Russian connection.

Trump’s taxes will lead you to the players involved in this international vote hacking scandal. This is why he won’t volunteer them. After his taxes are revealed, the entire plot will quickly be self-evident.  Trump is blackmailed b y his own dirt. And the Russians have been helping him hide his dirt for 30 years. Putin helped get Trump in and now he wants payback. It reads like a book. 
Trump would never have run for office if he had to reveal his taxes. His lawyers said he would not have to. He even lied on the trail about it stating ” I will reveal my taxes at the right time”.  And if he must show his taxes, I’d bet he might even leave the USA — with his draft dodger mentality.

We cannot put the history and future of the United States into the hands of the now known liar and unwitting Russian operative, Donald Trump. The one thing he won’t show, his taxes, have the trails we need to tie him to Russia in a way he cannot explain his way out of and he knows that.  And our national security is not safe whilst we are busy investigating. Russia stays one step ahead of Trump and America in this game. They will be making moves in the international arena, and Trump is hamstrung. If he opposes Putin, Putin puts out the truth on Trump and he may go to jail. And Trump has draft-dodger mentality,  so he has to play Putin’s game.

 If Trump cared for this country at all, he would spare us this eventual embarrassment and just show his taxes. Of course, he does not really care for Americans. He never has shown anything but a desire to get richer at the cost of hard-working Americans. Yes, he’ s willing to say words like ” Make America Great” . That’s what a saleman does. But Trump’s actions, cabinet picks, lies, ties, and body language all tell the story of a man who is blackmailed by the Russians and hiding dirt. 

 

Besides the daily dissaray, here’s what I’ve noticed about Donald Trump’s first weeks in office. Trump asks for everything first, and settles for what he can get later.

He started by asking that the Republican ethics committee be disbanded. That way his shenanigans and back door deals could go undetected. That try failed.But he tried, right?

He asked for a Muslim ban, and when that did not work he has it rephrased so it has a better chance. This is what he calls the “art of the deal”, is it not?  Actually, this is a very old carnie business protocol that we both learned in the 1980’s in from salesmen-type survivors of the Great Depression – old folks, who could remember the Nuckie Thompson days of Atlantic City. It’s also a technique still used by salesmen of high-priced blind items, like diamonds. They ask for the moon, settle for what they can get. Not really an art is it?

But Donald Trump did not think this through. As a businessman, you can do this sort of negotiating over and over again, because no one is following you around from deal to deal. The deals are made in back rooms. It does not get old real fast. 

But when you are the president of a free and open society there is some transparency on these deals.  And with exposure, they can get old real fast. This is why Trump says the press is a public enemy. What a lie that statement is. It is the completely opposite to the truth. 

And so, the modus operandi of asking for too much first, gets exposed if you are president, but only if there is a free press. Eventually, It makes the POTUS look like an unprepared clown, which lowers his standing in the public’s mind and also in the minds of those he might be negotiating with, like foreign rulers. That makes such a president a less effective negotiator. It works only if offers can be made in secrecy.  Amd this is why we need a free press now, more than ever before. 

What Trump Did Not Figure On

Trump thought that being president of the USA would be just like being president of Trump Inc. But it’s not. There is scrutiny. And that scrutiny has already got him alientated by almost everyone but his base.  Even his base is now beginning to see through his rough edges. In the end, all he will have left are the haters and his swamp creatures. There are not that many of them. Most folks really know we had a good thing going here in the USA. It won’t be long. His own party will be showing him the door.

This is why he selects those who will protect him from his past for his cabinet positions. He keeps people with their own dirt and people who have dirt on him close. He is sort of blackmailed. This is also why Donald has made so few position choices in the last 30 days. To work for Donald Trump, you have to abandon your private ideas of what America is, and swear to protecting the secrets of Donald Trump. This way, he can get his private agenda done and not get exposed. 

And we all know what Trump’s private agenda has been and what it has always been: to get richer. That oil deal for Putin, since the Russians have him blackmailed for tax evasion, is #1 on his list. But it won’t stop there. Beware.

Today, Trump says if you don’t share his vision of America you should step down from office – get out of the way. Tomorrow, he will say if you don’t share his vision of America, you are a criminal. That’s is how they got normal Germans to be Nazi enforcers.  It’s coming folks. He won’t let anyone stop his greed disease, because it is a disease, an addiction to fill up the void of his life.  Judges, dead war heroes, protestors, not even the Pope has yet stopped this addict from getting his fix. 

But those loyal to him are going down with his ship just the way Hitler’s henchmen did. They should think about that. They are risking it all for him. And this draft dodger risked nothing for others – ever. 

Trump is a cancer. He does what a cancer does. He eats and eats – and tries not to be detected. The free press is the immune system of our democracy. We need to bolster that immune system more than ever before, because we are under attack … by a cancer.
