Time To Prepare for a Contested Election

We have about 100 days left until what will likely be remembered as the most significant election in US history. I want to lay out how crucial this decision is for the USA to get right, not only for its democracy but for the entire planet.

One question that looms is, will the people of the United States continue to allow its government to shield the criminals within its upper echelon like crooked police precincts shield their bad actor cops. Accountability is trending as a meme after George Floyd’s murder, but accountability is not just about cops any more. We must insist our elected reps be fully vetted and held accountable just as well as our police. The “frat boy” cronyism has to end – everywhere.

I have also been asking myself this for four years: If a president works against “domestic Tranquility” and obstructs “Justice”, does he not betray the founding principles of this government laid out in the Declaration? And is not “betrayal” a cognate of the word “traitor”?

Looking back, the Trump presidency has essentially been one long four year war on the concept of equal justice for all. Trump is fighting for cronyism to prevail, so he routinely goes after his ( not ours, he’s fine with Putin) enemies and pardons his friends.

Why must he do this? Only one thing makes sense. Organized criminals depend on cronyism. It’s always been that way. And now, since impeachment failed, the ballot box is the battlefield upon which this final war will soon be waged.

Trump is aware he is way down in the polls. He had been banking on creating false enemies and scapegoats for his fans to hate, but the pandemic quickly became a mortal threat to the health and welfare of all Americans – which now especially includes his own base. Made up causes like Build That Wall, Lock Her Up, Make America Great Again are not resonating. People have real problems to navigate now.

Trump is even trying to blame his world’s worst virus response on China. But then, why are Korea and New Zealand doing so well versus the virus? Did they blame China? No. The reacted to science decisively and early. Our numbers of cases, deaths and tests reveal we can rightly blame Trump for about 80% of our deaths. The USA averages five times worse than the average country to Covid. So far, that’s about 100,000 more dead Americans owing to Trump’s uncaring incompetence.

Since Trump knows he is hopelessly behind in an honest election, he has already messaged that he plans to contest the election results. We should be preparing for that challenge now. Are we? Are we just hoping “it will all go away” the way Trump said of the coronavirus?

Neither the Virus Nor Trump-ism Can Be Wished Away

In order to beat the virus, we study science. In order to beat Trump-ism we need to study some political science. And that starts by knowing our enemies. Trump and his allies ( here and abroad) are performing as enemies to the founding principles of the Constitution. Why is that? Who are his allies?

Financial Criminals are the Masterminds Behind Autocracies

Americans can all agree we don’t want a dictatorship here in the USA. Yet there seems to be no facility or viable process to challenge our POTUS even after we hear his words siding with dictators over our allies – and even over our own intelligence. It is madness for us to permit this kind of behavior from anyone, let alone our military commander. How powerful is this cabal of global dictators that Trump seems to belong to? To understand that, this map is instructive:

As you can see, Russia, China, and most of the Middle East and Africa are dictatorships. I’ve made the Trump USA orange, and dubbed it a dysfunctional democracy. You can see right away that the United States is the tie breaker for land area and financial clout in the struggle between democracies and dictatorships. Without the United States, democracies would control about 35% of the world’s financial resources, making it easy for the dictatorships to take it all in a short time. That is precisely what is at stake here. The entire world order is on the US ballot in November.

Dictators are not Trumpism’s only allies. There are also the sold-out large corporations, such as Facebook. many are beholden only to their bottom line and would prefer a world where there is no competition and people are just needy consumers. The unbridled capitalism paradigm also leads to large wealth gaps just as a dictatorship does. So yes, we need to stand up to the billionaires, as Bernie and Warren have said, but first things first.

The remaining allies of the authoritarians are the poorly educated. They are usually sold on “religious” and phony “personal value” talking points. That’s why state-run media is so important to a successful dictatorship. That’s also why Putin took Pravda early in his regime.

Protect The Vote

Trump seems to be losing the election badly as of today. But he has powerful allies and they are more than willing to cheat again. Today I went online and Googled “VOTE AGAIN” at GoDaddy. I think we should create a site where people can vote again or at least register their votes again. I realize that it will never be their official vote. But the site I envision takes ID, and secures the voter’s ID and votes with blockchain encryption. It’s rather easy to do these days. That way, when Trump challenges the election results, as he will certainly do if he is still a force to reckon with in November, we are armed to fight back.

When people argue we would only get Democrats to vote at this pretend vote site, I counter with, “if our numbers are a majority of all votes in any county or state, we won’t need the GOP votes to be counted”. This would be a site created primarily to count Democrat votes because we fully expect the GOP to cheat wherever they can.

We need Democrat votes to be registered somewhere else besides then current state run voting machines, which are known to be subject to hacking. We still don’t know if Hemp won in Georgia. Trump and his allies know the ballot box is the battlefield upon which the war to decide his fate and the fate of the planet will be fought on November 3rd 2020.

SAVE THE POST OFFICE

Why are not the three super billionaires – Bezos, Gates and Bloomberg ( I have given up on Zuck ) – announced a financial pact to save the post office and vote by mail? Don’t they realize that dictators seize media businesses first to stay in power? it feels like we are sleeping, partying and just hoping all with go smoothly on 11/3. It’s 120 days out; we should be firing on all cylinders. It’s also 30 days out from the supposed cutoff date to announce bad news on candidates. Trump will not honor that convention. He expects the Dems to however. I hope we prove him wrong on that. The gloves are off. This is a war. Maybe it’s a cyber war, but we can lose our democracy in this war. Isn’t that what WW2 was about?

*I fully believe Putin showed Trump this above map in Helsinki and explained to him that together they could rule the planet. I found this map with a simple Google search “dictator vs democracy map”. Putin knows Trump has no sense of history, but also that Trump needs to stay in power or possibly be exposed for all the crimes he has committed. Putin knew Trump would see the world like a RISK board once he showed it to him that way.

Democracies and dictatorships are like cats and dogs. They are natural born enemies because their philosophies are diametrically opposed. Nearly all dictators steal from their own people to amass power and wealth. That’s why you see such large wealth gaps in most dictatorships. Since dictators are essentially thieves, they all need to continue to hide their deepest secrets.

If dictators could align, they could wipe out the democracies and protect their secrets for the foreseeable future. So that’s why they think this US election is important in Russia, Turkey and Saudi Arabia. Their existence as dictators depends on the world not viewing democracy as the better way to go. Since its hard to have an Iron Curtain in today’s internet/social media world – their best hope is for Trumpism to prevail here.

An Online Public Forum for Democracy Could Redefine Politics As We Know It

Manipulating public opinion via social media played a critical role in Trump’s 2016 win. But what happens if we use that same social media technology for good? It’s time to find out.

Online technologies at Facebook, Twitter and Google were very influential in the outcome of the 2016 presidential election. One consequence of the Russian bots foreign election influence was the moral authority of the Trump admin and the GOP were suspect for four years. That stain will never go away. It clearly was unhealthy for our democracy.

It seems to me, the human appetite for wealth and power is the root problem – and will always be the problem for all governments – democracies, autocracies and inbetween. What’s good for one person is not necessarily good for all people, as resources are, by nature, limitied. So we will always get people who get into politics primarily for themselves – not to serve the public.

Transparent Open-Source Democracy Software could cure that issue which is built into the human spirit. Why let these communication technologies drown us, when we can just as easily ride a technological wave to a better democracy here and consequently to a better planet for all mankind? In other words, why should the bad guys be using these media technologies while we sit by and watch this same show over and over again? It’s just not smart.

The very same platforms that helped spread Russian lies and fake news, changing the arc of American politics, can be used to heal our divided country and create an informed consensus that reflects the true attitudes and desires of the majority of Americans.

Open-Source Issue-driven Democracy Software and an Online Forum would function as a perpetual town hall meeting. It would inform our elected representatives of what the majority of Americans want. We will never have to hear politicians tell us what we want again! These are six steps that could form the backbone of a theoretical Public Forum for Democracy. This works for city, state and federal governments.

Step One. DEFINE THE ISSUES: Instead of candidates telling us what we want or need, candidates ask their constituency what they want to address or change. This can be done in town halls, but those meetings should be televised, youtubed, and made available in all forms of social media. Of course, candidates can have an opionion on matters. But their right to vote against the will of their consituency must be made illegal. The public has the final choice on all issues that are not military – or we never really have a democracy. There is a dark, smug reasoning that many politicians hold secretly: people don’t know what they want; they need to be told and they can’t handle the truth. None of the above is true, nor does it lead to healthy civic habits or a robust democracy.

Step Two: GET EDUCATED ON THE ISSUES. There are so many ways this can be done online. Videos. Discussions with experts. Town Halls. Articles emailed and posted to social media. Having opinions when one has little knowledge on the science and mechanics of the issue is not the same as an opinion when you know about the subject. This is an ongoing page of the public forum. There is always something new to learn.

Here is my example short list of ten top issues pressing on Americans right now. But I welcome a discussion on these issues.

Healthcare – How do we want to treat pre-existing conditions? Do we want medicare for all or a combination of two systems? How do we rein in prescription drug prices? What do we do when people don’t want healthcare? etc.
Taxation and income inequality – Income inequality is a world-wide issue. Should there be a cap on what SEO’s can make? Should the tax break given to big corps by the Trump administration continue, expand – or scale back? Do we need a more progressive tax system the way it was in the 1950’s? etc.
Gun laws – Do the majority of Americans want background checks? Checks on automatic weapons? Better protection in schools? etc.
Border Security – What do we really want here?
Infrastructure – American infrastructure is falling behind the pace set in modern countries like Japan. Where and when do we start catching up?
Money in politics – Do Americans like Citizens United and lobbying? Should government reps not be able to serve unless they show their taxes?
Internet regulations and social media – What do Americans on both sides want here?
Gerrymandering and voting rights – What do we want? This should not be up to elected officials in a democracy.
Climate science, environment and R & D – The planet’s #1 issue needs our all our focused energies. We don’t need to be torn apart over this. The software would allow the smartest among us to educate all of us with brilliant ideas that can be deployed.
Education – We are falling behind in all age levels when it comes to education. How do we turn this around?

What does this software look like? This is what democracy looks like.

It just looks like a website with categories to explore. Nothing complicated. The categories are simply the issues we need to discuss. In each category, there are links to education on the issue, articles by experts from both sides, guest speakers and a chat room where citizens can discuss issues in a civil manner. Bad words are auto-censored. The technology for all of this exists. People who violate rules of engagement are banned.

No bots are allowed. There are ways to insure that. Facebook just does not try hard enough. Besides the education room and chat room there are two more rooms. One is a voting room. First Tuesday of every month we all vote on what we are learning. The votes are never for people. The votes are for the issues. And there is a vote tabulation room where results are published. That creates the big data we need to know where the center of America really is.

Penalties for wayward politicians must be established in 2019. Showing one’s taxes is a must. The law should read that no one can “serve” in federal government without openly declaring 6 years of taxes. We don’t want this to happen ever again.

Politicians who do not vote for what the majority decides are violating their oaths of office. We’ll have to make laws that say violating one’s oath is grounds for immediate impeachment. None of this 66% of the Congress stuff. That’s the law that has us in chains. I don’t think the founders figured on Congress members becoming so sold out. Morality and economics were way different when our constitution was written. And generally, relying on things that were written so long ago is a recipe for being out of touch.

And that’s it. The Forum for Democracy can help us solve our political and civic engagement problems. It could finally make good use of internet and social media technologies. And if it works here, it can work anywhere. Brexit? It can work there too. The Middle East? Why not? But first things first. We really have to fix the American democracy first. The world is watching. Our example can reform the world. And if we don’t succeed we may enter a new modern form of the Middle Ages.

The software can be adopted by a small group, like a town. That town could be here in the USA or a village somewhere in Africa. It works the same everywhere and anywhere people want democracy to govern their decisions! It can start small like a ripple. But it scales large like a tsunami.

We all now can see the degree of dysfunction and corruption in governments, both here and abroad. The media is doing that job fairly well. So with that track record and with Congress being less popular than cockroaches, why should citizens leave their governing to politicians? That seems to be a long-broken model. But that dysfunctional model can be fixed with Democratic Software and a burning desire to clean up corruption.

Let’s face it. Politicians have repeatedly proven themselves to be sold out as a group. Yes, there are some dedicated public servants in politics. Our new Congress has many optimistic young members. But there are also greedy business people and criminals who, legally and illegally, consider public service as an opportunity to steal from the public. Some even have foreign bank accounts to hide their theft. These politicians are, at best, unnecessary middlemen for our values – and at worse, they just ignore them and push for self-dealing.

Democratic Software, where citizens openly discuss ideas to improve their own common welfare and how to pay for it, could repair the citizen-representative disconnect which exists today even in so-called Democratic countries. That disconnect is glaringly obvious in the Trump GOP. They passed tax cuts for super-rich without the consent of their electorate. And they are trying to dismantle HealthCare for all, which just about every citizen wants. It makes zero sense to allow these people to legislate for us.

In a representative democracy, politicians should be doing our bidding. The re– in “re-presentative” government means we must first “present” our ideas. If we don’t first present ideas, we can’t blame the humans-are-greedy-by-nature politicians for taking advantage of their status – and representing for themselves or for their donors. Same thing when they can get paid secretly. After all, the largest USA representative, our president, is openly and clearly self-dealing.

So we need a private platform where we can voice and discuss our ideas and reach a consensus. And we have the technology already! What are we waiting for? We have reached the “just do it” moment. We can’t blame the politicians any longer. It’s getting old. We can only blame ourselves for letting them do this to us – over and over again.

The new Congress must change the laws against self-dealing too. Why do we allow representatives to have undeclared bank accounts? Why do we allow a presidential candidate to not show his taxes. This is pure stupidity. And it’s killing us.

One of the biggest challenges for the new Congress is to restore faith in the Congress. Many who support Trump still would still vote for Trump over Hillary. They reason she was dirty too. Some think Obama, Bush and Clinton were dirty as well. Trump and GOP supporters will need to see that there is such a thing as politicians who really care and for for the common welfare. If they don’t see and believe that, they will stick to what they are familiar with and we will continue this downwards spiral as a country. This is Russia’s long game objective. They have the patience to watch us devolve. We are actually losing that patience here now. We have to reach the “enough” phase and soon.

Politicians should really be bots for our decisions and have no right to sabotage the majority opinion.

There would be chat rooms to discuss all issues from gay rights to gun rights and links to real information from recognized experts on all sides of the arguments. There could even be a place for political ads ( to help pay for the servers and tech – this has to be a non-profit enterprise ) by American companies and vetted individuals, with equal space for ads guaranteed. We don’t have to wait for government to do this! This software would exist now outside of government with the objective to inform government with big data.

And yes, some issues are more national in scope than others, like air and water quality. There could be even world-wide discussions to pave a way to real world peace – to end terrorism – and even to insure the survival of the species. Imagine that! We can have forums on global warming and listen to the experts and then take informed actions.

We have this technology right now! The Google/Facebook technology was sabotaged by international criminals to get their boy to win the election of 2016. Reverse engineer this technology to redefine the way government functions. This is easy! Look into Voatz.com. They have the voting software already! We’ll need to partner with them or someone like them.

Regular Mock Votes

An essential part of any mock government site would be regularly scheduled mock voting days. Maybe we could have them once a month to form good habits. We could call the first Tuesday of every month – Mock Vote Day – and reinforce the healthy civic tradition of getting real information and voting our own minds.

The sheer numbers in these monthly mock government votes would inform the honest players in our actual government as to the direction the majority really wants to be steered. Those who would de-rail this will be swiftly exposed. Mock Democracy with voting software is a super strong meme. Statistics don’t lie – they inform us.

And then we can finally insist that our representatives re-present the ideas of the majority, the way a democracy should work. Politicians who don’t represent the consensus would be quickly exposed and voted out or removed from office for not representing the majority, which his their sworn duty.

TRANSPARENT OPEN-SOURCE DEMOCRACY FORUM (SOFTWARE) Ideally, this starts small and software improvements are made as needed.

CITY > STATE > COUNTRY > GLOBE

This is also the smartest way we can deal with the real elephant in our room – global warming. We’ll have to pool our brains and cut out the autocrats who milk the old ways for their own good – to the detriment of the human species.

Based on the current popularity of political news shows, I think Americans are ready for this. We can essentially use the same door employed to enter this dysfunctional governmental state- to exit it!

And if they ( Facebook, Google, or CNN) don’t want to do this – we can do this ourselves too. We can even Shark Tank the concept, if need be.

Can we share this on social media so it gets to the powers that be in the media, please?

Preaching Jesus and Supporting Trump Will Not Square Any Longer

One can no longer respect institutions that preach the teachings of Jesus Christ on Sunday, and speak well of Donald Trump on Monday. We are only facing a constitutional crisis in the USA because we are failing to address the moral crisis of remaining silent about a president who lacks decent character by any standard of measurement.

There has never been evidence that Donald Trump performed one single act of kindness in his entire life. He is morally bankrupt.

During Easter 2018, when Roy Moore, a child rapist, was running for office in Alabama, I called on pastors, preachers and all religious leaders to create an Easter Sunday Sermon to address how best preserve our American democracy. About 60% of our fellow Americans now believe this president is trying to obstruct or skirt justice for crimes committed in his rather unholy life.

We are all aware that many Evangelists support Donald Trump. After a brutally honest editorial in Christianity Today, it appears that Mr Trump has succeeded in dividing the Evangelists who were nearly all willing to give him a chance in 2016. Now that they had some time to see how Trump performs and who he really is, many who actively or passively supported Trump are reconsidering. This short post will explain why.

First, think on the kids of Parkland, Florida. The idealistic 16-year old students were supported by so many Americans. I thought back to when I was 16 and this hit me.

There are two special times in a person’s life when one can easily afford the luxury of being idealistic. First, when you are a teenager in the home of a well-to-do loving parent. Because the roof over your head and meals are paid for by your parents, you have the time to ponder what seems right to you in life and stand up for those values with your heart, soul, action and words.

But then, what happened to the idealism of the hippie generation of the 1960’s? They graduated college and went out into the world to make a living. And after a few years of that struggle ( which was much less of a struggle back then than it is today ) their hippie, youthful idealism was pretty much gone. I was there. All but vanished. And soon, the “it’s all about me” generation was in power. By the 1980’s we even heard “greed was good.”

We re-open to idealism again when we are much older, if we can achieve a proper retirement. After we have brought up our families, paid our mortgages, and we are set for life, we can afford to get back in touch with our long lost youthful idealism.

Between the ages of 21 and retirement, its hardest to be idealistic. It’s why older retired folks make better public servants than people with families to nurture. It’s why I don’t mind seeing older presidential candidates this cycle.

Which brings me to why pastors and religious leaders should speak this Christmas about what Jesus would have said about Donald Trump’s total lack of empathy and love for the needy or meek. If they fail to rally their teenagers to Jesus’s point of view, they risk losing them for life!

Anyone can see Trump does not possess the qualities of a holy man or even a good man according to the teachings of Jesus. Most teenagers see through Donald Trump.

Let’s go over some of Jesus’s teachings to highlight just how far Trump is from Jesus.

For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many. (Trump never served anyone in his life. he chose to be a draft dodger when called on to serve.)
But I say to you, Love your enemies … ( Trump even asks that we hate some of our neighbors and fellow Americans.)
Let the one among you who is without sin be the first to cast a stone. (Trump – a total sinner – casts stones with every tweet. )
For what shall it profit a man, if he gain the whole world, and suffer the loss of his soul? ( I think this is the most fitting for Mr. Trump, since it speaks to profit and greed. Trump has repeatedly shown he is willing to step on anyone or anything, including our constitution – for profit. )

Preachers. Teachers. Pastors. Fellow citizens. Parents. I don’t have to tell you how never-Trump Jesus would have been. You already know that. Before you advocate for Trump again, or fail to use your pulpit to advocate against Trump, one who clearly represents a sort of anti-Christ incarnate, think on your teenagers! You are losing them right now, in the most idealistic part of their lives. And your children will not forget. They never do.

Today’s teenagers will grow to become adults, as we all do. But Trump-era teenagers will have no respect for institutions that preach the teachings of Jesus Christ on Sunday, and speak well of Donald Trump on Monday.

Teenagers just can’t square that circle in their minds. And now that I am semi-retired, neither can I.

Dear preachers, teachers, firemen, doctors, plumbers, citizens young and older:

Please share this memo along with your own thoughts on this matter with your community and fellow religious leaders.

We are only facing a constitutional crisis in the US because we are failing to address the moral crisis of remaining silent about a president who lacks decent character by any standard of measurement.

This is particularly noticeable in Congress. Your representatives do not get to tell you what is right. They represent you. You have to know what is right. And you have to tell them to represent your ideas, not the other way around.

But first, one has to formulate those ideas and that takes some introspection. Remember, most politicians are self-serving opportunists who are not in the least idealistic. Idealism is supposed to be the realm of religion. Lose idealism, and you can forget respect for your religious teachings going forward.

We Have All Been Raped By This President – #MeToo

What is a rape really? A rape is taking something that is not willfully given. It can be physical, as in sexual rape, but it can also be monetary and even mental. And rapists of all kind are criminals in a just society. Are we a just society any more?

Donald Trump has been a rapist for as long as I have known him – over 60 years! So I just wish anyone who has ever been raped by this man would step up and join the “Me Too” movement. Not just women.

Fellow Citizens,

darkheart I went to Penn with Donald Trump and was in a class called “International Finance” with him in 1967. He paid a classmate to do his work for him in that class. At that point, Donny was raping the good name of the U of P with the dollars of his father. At that age, all I could draw from it was, ” So this is how this works for people with money”. I wish I had gone to the Dean about what I knew. Maybe everything would have been different. But I was silent.

In 1985, Trump built the Trump Plaza Hotel in Atlantic City. As fate would have it, my businesses were in AC back then, right across the street from him. I began to hear from friends that their fathers, who worked on the “glass windows” and “electricity” at the Plaza – were not getting paid. He was putting them through a rigmarole. Two of my friends family businesses were sunk by trusting Donald Trump. That was rape #2. He raped the trust of business-people. He did the same with banks. That’s why only Russian banks trust him these days. He can pay them with his secret foreign accounts. It’s also why he won’t show his taxes.

I am also sure it will turn out that he raped our US Treasury by opening foreign bank accounts with money stolen from his allegedly bankrupt casinos. I saw the action at his casinos. They did better than most. Why did Caesar’s not go broke during the same period? It makes no sense.

And Trump rapes our Treasury every day in other ways as well. His golf courses, his many homes which have to be guarded, his endless investigations – are not free to the taxpayer. So yes, this is all part of a raping as well.

Donald Trump has been a rapist for as long as I have known him – over 50 years! So I just wish anyone who has ever been raped by this man would step up and join the “Me Too” movement. Not just women.

What about those people who were thrown out of their houses in NYC by Trump, in his formative years in the late 1970’s? Did you not feel violated? Join the movement! And to those who were taken by his fake university, did you feel financially raped by Donald Trump’s lies? Join the movement.

And citizens. Was not the rigging of the election in 2016 a rape of our political system? He took something that was not his to take when he enrolled Russian players to help him win. He rapes our constitution, our laws, our values, our norms, our standards, – and yes, in the past he has raped women. He has said so. Maybe that’s where his sickness began. We have all been raped because the man is by his nature, a rapist.

And we can not be silent. Join the #MeToo Movement.

My Letter to the Pastors of Alabama

The following is the letter I sent to 23 Baptist Pastors in Alabama asking them to make the sermon of their lives on Sunday.

The people of America do not hate each other!

moore Donald Trump is effectively saying, if Alabamans have hate in their hearts, they can own their hatred. And in exchange for that permission to hate, he and his friends, here and abroad, will own our country! They are actively pursuing this agenda right now. The news breaks daily. History teaches us this is always the agenda of all dictators. Divide and conquer.

Trump won by hammering home lies in the last 3 days while Hillary celebrated. It’s called closing the sale in his world. (I was part of that world once. No longer.)

Your Sunday sermon will be the last important words Alabamans hear before they go vote Tuesday. The entire country and world is watching. It’s not about who Roy Moore was 40 years ago. Folks are aware he is no longer a threat to young girls, if he was before. It’s about who he Roy Moore is today and who his boss is today and how they do not preach or spread love. - They spread hatred. And all for vainglory and monetary payoffs.

You will know best how to inspire your people to vote for love on Tuesday. The importance of this vote is huge. If love wins in Alabama, the hate movement is drawing to a close. If hate wins, we are in for a long hard struggle.

PS. I am an etymologist. I guess you know that the word WORSHIP was originally WORDSHIP – words shipped to God. Also interesting that the Hebrew word OR ( light) is inside the word “word”. Trump is weak on honesty. He lies more than once a day. It’s been proven.
Trump is weak on caring for others. A billionaire who rarely gives to charity.
Trump is weak on brains. His own Secretary of State called him a moron.
Trump is weak on national security. His words provide fuel for our enemies.
Trump is weak on leadership. He does not have the personal qualities to be a leader. We don’t want our kids to grow up to be like Trump and neither do they.
Trump is weak on patriotism. He has a fortune stashed foreign bank accounts.
Trump is weak on morality. He “grabs them by the p…y” because he is a star.
Trump is weak on respecting others. He said “How stupid are the people of Iowa?”
Trump is weak on education for our kids. His Betsy Devos appointee tells us that.
Trump is weak on faithfulness. He used his wives and friends as pawns in his game. When they are no longer useful, he drops them.
Trump is weak on healthcare. He is trying to sink the ACA, by any means possible.
Trump is weak on the environment. The USA and Syria are the only two countries out of the Paris accord.
Trump is weak on women’s rights. He is accused of sexual assaulting over 12 women.
Trump is weak on security. We all feel less secure with him in the White House. Trump is weak on fiscal responsibility. We are spending a fortune guarding his many homes, and golf courses and paying for investigations. Trump is weak on infra-structure. With all the nonsense we are witnessing, we are not getting down to doing the important things we should be doing to make America a better place to live for us all.

Trump is a weakling. The USA can’t afford to have a weakling in office.

To vote Trump out of office, vote his GOP associates out of office at every level. They will catch on – and show him the exit door.

Sexual Disposition and Job Performance Do Not Necessarily Correlate

In most cases, how we deal with our varied sexual dispositions does not “have to” impact the way we approach our daily jobs. For example, John Kennedy is generally thought to have been a great president, and yet it is well known that he had affairs. However …

moore I’ve been thinking about the rash of sexual allegations that has erupted against men in positions of power and public service. This is my take on it all.

In a lifetime, we all have many different roles to play: child, friend, student, parent, worker, spouse, player, etc. And one of those roles is our personal sexual stance. It usually occupies no more than a few hours a week of activity, with much more time spent thinking and fantasizing about it all.

Our sexual tastes are basic, primal, and largely beyond our control. And we play our sexual roles only during limited times when those primal desires well up in us.

Etymological and philosophical aside: The “x” at the end of the word “sex” literally depicts the connection, the crossing or juncture between two people. Sexual appetite drives the engine that populates the world. Many of us would not be here today had it not been for some weird sexual encounter that took place perhaps a thousand years ago. So unless we are speaking about forced unwanted sex, it’s really hard for me to be too critical of the myriads of various sexual encounters on planet earth.

Further, in most cases, just how we deal with our varied sexual dispositions does not have to impact the way we approach our daily jobs. For example, John Kennedy is generally thought to have been a great president, and yet it is well known that he had affairs. And yes, there are plenty of functioning people in politics, business and even military service who happen to be gay – and that does not correlate with their job performances. Sexual stance and job performance – simply put – do not correlate.

However, a damning line can be crossed. A hard line exists when one person uses superior strength to force unwanted sexual relations – or a position of power or drugs to induce sex that would not be wanted in a clear state of mind. Those transgressions should be treated as crimes because they are crimes. But crimes also have statutes of limitations – and for good reasons. And yes, 40 years is too late to indict for a non-murder crime. That is the law and it appears to be a good one.

Can a person who has a fetish for 15 year old girls at the age of 32 return to a job at age of 70 – and do it well? Honestly, that answer has to be yes. If we are talking about situations where the female had at least some complicity in the arrangement, unless there was forced sex ( which is rape and a crime for sure ) there’s just not a one-to-one relationship between whatever happened during fleeting private moments – and one’s ability to do a job well – the very next day.

So even though I find what Roy Moore did 40 years ago deplorable ( a proper use of that word at last ) if I were running against him I would not overplay that hand. After-all, I don’t think at the age 70 Roy Moore is a danger to teenagers.

I would much prefer that Doug Jones make his cases against Roy Moore on his record and the way he will do his job as a senator. I would advice Doug Jones to attack Roy Jones not for 40 year old sexual allegations – but for these reasons:

Moore is a climate denier
Moore does not respect gay people and their rights
Moore has nationalistic, racist and tribal positions on immigration
Moore wants to repeal the ACA
Moore advocates for trickle-down
Moore stands with Donald Trump
Moore favors cutting funding for public schools and promoting charter schools, vouchers, tax credits, home schooling, and Christian schools
Moore opposes abortion, same-sex marriage, and civil unions
Moore wants to defund Planned Parenthood

There is plenty to campaign against there. And Doug Jones must also explain why he will be better for Alabamans.

I really think we should get a lot of these sexual allegations off the front pages of the our papers and broadcasts – and asap. They are largely distractions. There’s not much meat on those bones. They just involve fleeting personal relations and yes – weaknesses – but between two people. Gun rights, healthcare, tax fairness, clean air and water, Trump’s impulsiveness – these issues involve us all. That’s what governing is all about, right?

Let’s focus. These sexual stories are sucking up too way much oxygen and causing us to lose focus on the many larger, more important issues we must deal with … right now.

How Trump is Bankrupting the USA with his Foreign Bank Accounts

Trump and all his top level players have foreign bank accounts. We should end that right away.

cookie-trump When Trump prevailed in the election he rigged with Russian helpers, he was as shocked as everyone else. We all could see that in his acceptance speech and demeanor. Shortly after, there were some off-script comments that revealed his attitude to his new position. I knew Trump from Penn and AC. It’s hard to fool people that know you. Trump’s mindset after the win was “I just got the keys to the biggest money-making machine on the planet. And I am going to figure out how to milk it the way I have been doing with real estate.” I will discuss a simple way to make sure this does not happen here again. But first.

On Dec. 9, a month after he won, there was this telling statement was “I don’t need your votes any more” . (Link to verify if you missed it or don’t believe it.)

What should that tell you? Well, since then Trump has not drained the swamp. Instead, he has filled his swampy cabinet with people that are financial predators – just like he has always been. His treasury secretary, Steve Mnuchen made a fortune by buying people’s bankrupt homes. Jared Kushner’s real estate company will sue you right into prison if you fall behind on payments. Wilbur Ross made billions buying bankrupt corporations and selling their parts. Rex Tillerson has a 500 billion dollar oil deal with Russia that he is trying to get put in place. And Scott Pruitt gets kickbacks from industry to pollute our air and water.

But where do all these foreign players deposit their graft dollars? Not here in the USA! That’s too easy to track. What all Trump’s players have in common is foreign bank accounts. Without foreign bank accounts, none of their financial games work.

Solution? We need to stop allowing government officials to have foreign bank accounts. That’s the simple and natural way to get honest sincere representatives.

Its clear that all of Trump’s players have a track record of profiting from bankruptcies. And so, they have a real financial interest in bankrupting America. They will all make money when they come back in with their cash and buy the assets they destroy back cheap. They even have a profit motive to pollute. A polluted environment is worth less. What a sick crew we have allowed Trump to install here.

And Trump knows he does not need our votes any more – or even our agreement or support. He knows he is president for the next 3 years. His hands, and the hands of his hombres are in our collective cookie jar, and they are emptying it out as fast as they can because they also know good things don’t last forever in a democracy. ( In Putin’s Russia despots can stay in power longer by silencing the dissent. )

Trump and all his top level players have foreign bank accounts. They will bring their foreign cash back in to buy back the bankruptcies and devaluations they are busy causing right now.

As citizens, must quickly find a way to make it so that people who hold national office cannot have foreign bank accounts. Foreign bank accounts are a permission slip for selling out our country. Most people don’t even dream of having foreign bank accounts. Most people like being honest. Why should we allow our representatives to have secret accounts in foreign countries? Can someone please answer that? It’s just too stupid for words.

We give our politicians a permission to sell us out, when we allow them to deal for us – and also have foreign bank accounts. Trump and his team is happily doing that now. But there are others – in the senate and house ( and they will resist this) – and there will be more if we don’t make this illegal. And when foreign accounts become illegal for politicians to possess, those type of money laundering criminals just won’t seek office.

There is no downside to this. And there is no upside to doing nothing about this.

In fact, even though its Trump’s hand is in our cookie jar now, we put that cookie jar on the counter when we don’t monitor the financial dealings of our representatives. It’s really hard to sell a system out, if all the money you get to make deals has to be deposited in US banks. But its really easy to do, if you have a foreign bank account.

This must stop! Will one honest representative or senator please stand up and propose this idea as soon as possible, please? Foreign bank accounts must be closed to run for a national office. The foreign funds must be transferred into the US before their name gets on a ballot. That will stop this from happening again. And I am not so sure that state representatives and governors should not have the same rules.

Better players will emerge when we have a system that is intrinsically designed to be honest.

And this sex stuff is a huge distraction. Get off it please! The French say “viv la difference”. It’s not an excuse for bad behavior, but men and women have different sexual agendas. Women can get pregnant. And men have too many seeds. That is nature.

Let’s judge our representatives for who they have been for the last ten years. People do change – sometimes. Let’s judge them for what they have done and want to do for us. Al Franken seems like a real pubic servant to me. Roy Moore does not to me. If Alabamans like him, its fine with me. But I think being in Trump’s camp – the raider that he is – is reason enough to keep him out of our government.

The Special Election in Alabama Occupies a Pivotal Point in American History

The special election in Alabama is positioned at a pivotal point in our country’s history. Even if this sexual allegation had not come out on Roy Moore, Moore is in bed with Donald Trump. And that alone should give you pause to support him.

To all good people of Alabama – Republicans, independent-minded and Democrats:

In 2016, people wanted to vote out more than vote in. That has not changed. There is probably more of that sentiment today than in 2016. – But now its not HRC but Trump that is in the swamp – and even his followers know this down deep.

We need to be telling people to vote out the swamp creatures that our lying, hypocritical president has put in place to rob the good ordinary people of Alabama and all over this nation. We want good affordable caring health care for our sick and elderly, better education for our kids, infrastructure investments, clean air polices, and to pay for this we don’t want trickle down. We want taxes to increase on the super rich and Trump’s fat cat friends who ave had a free ride for too long, and are awash in cash.

There is a large difference between a Republican and a sold out Trump Republican. Print them and distribute them to your support team members please. Its like those MAGA hats but with an honesty behind them. It WILL work. People respond to branding. The word “Trump” can also be taken as a verb, so trump Republicans also means to outdo Republican political hacks.)

If you are a GOP member or supporter reading this, please consider that though you and your GOP friends are likely fine and decent people, Trump’s GOP congress members are not your friends. They simply don’t behave the way friends do.

Would a friend work so hard to take away your healthcare?
Would a friend turn your child’s college education into an expensive affair that’s often hardly worth the effort?
Would a friend say one thing and then do another?

Trump GOP congressmen offer us lip service, but they have shown no love for actual people since Trump became president. This is because Donald Trump himself finds it hard to be close to people. And that is because Trump and his friends seem to view people as objects or cattle – to be milked. That attitude started for Trump when he owned casinos in AC, which is a business where other’s losses are your gain. We know about casinos in Alabama. Trump is still a casino boss at heart.

Alabamans! Know this too. Hillary is not coming back! She really is not. You don’t have to worry about her. Even the left admits she was a bit tone deaf and self-serving. Relax on that. You don’t have to vote GOP to keep HRC away. The GOP still speaks of HRC (and OBAMA) to distract you from thinking about them and what they want for their own and not for us – which is more because they are greedy souls and we can all see that now. They had a year to show their true colors. Enough!

Today, it is Donald Trump and his GOP associates that are your enemies. They are mostly self-serving middlemen trying to get ahead on your sweat, with little work, and without regard to public service they swear oaths to.

Alabaman women! I also think most Alabaman women, the instinctual creatures that they are, know all this down deep. Vote them all out! And its not for sexual allegations that Roy Moore should be voted out. It is for who he is and who he is aligned with. He is not your friend! Neither is Trump.

The Special Election in Alabama

This is not about me but I know Mr. Trump. I went to school with him. He cheated on his homework at age 20. Big deal. But that attitude of cheating to win never left him. He has had foreign bank accounts for 30 years and he won’t show his taxes. Why? To conceal his financial crimes? Can you really think of an honest reason he won’t show his taxes beyond the old “it’s nobody’s business”?

Trump is supposed to be a public servant. And yet, Trump has never done a selfless thing for anybody else in entire life. He has given almost no charitable contributions from his own pocket. He would think that would be stupid. And he certainly does not care about you or Alabamans except how your support can help him get richer.

Ask yourself this. If Trump cared about Americans or Alabamans, why does his daughter own sweatshops in China to create her clothing? That alone should tell you something. Could not that same clothing be made in Alabama, where the cotton is grown? That should tell you that the Trump’s don’t care for anything but personal wealth for themselves. And Roy Moore in on his team. Trump’s team members are not your friends and they don’t want to be your friends.

Add to that the obvious notion that our president, regardless of who he may be, needs to be vetted as an honest patriot or we run the risk of having foreign governments rape and plunder the coiffures of our country from the inside out.

So even if Roy Moore was not accused of being a pedophile, being a Trump Republican is enough incentive for you to send Congress and this nation a message. Enough! We are better than this.

There is a difference between decent Republican people, decent Republican politicians (like McCain, Romney and Corker and many more) and Trump Republicans, who turn a blind eye to everything decent to fatten their own pockets.

I ask that you seriously consider voting against Roy Moore in the special election. If you don’t like the Democrat guy, write in the name of someone you know or trust to represent your interests. I ask that you send the message that decent people in America are outraged at what we are witnessing. And yes, Moore is important to the Trump GOP machine, so they have a majority to continue their Russian-backed agendas of destroying everything that was good about America and making themselves richer at our expense.

We can do something to restore justice for our neighbors and children. We can agree to identify and vote out all Trump Republicans and reset the path of our country back to the decent loving place it can be. I have nothing against GOP members like McCain who are not sworn to protect their “king”.

Send Congress a message. Vote all Trump Republicans out of office.

A movement started in Virginia. Let that spirit continue in Alabama, and soon we will see the change we all want and need.
