Adding and Managing Users to your Web Hosting Portal


If you need to give another person access to your Encode customer service portal, you can add them as a user and assign specific permissions.

Adding a New User:

  1. You will need to log in to your web hosting customer service portal
  2. Click on "Hello, Name!" from the top menu and navigate to User Management.
  3. Enter an email address under Invite New User.
  4. Choose All Permissions to grant all available permissions, or choose Permissions and select the desired permissions.
  5. Click Send Invite.

Commonly Used User Permissions

When adding a user, you can select from the following commonly used permission levels:

  • View Products & Services: Grants access to view existing products, services, and add-ons.
  • View & Open Support Tickets: Enables the user to contact support on your behalf.
  • Perform Single Sign-On: Allows the user to log in directly to services like cPanel.
  • View Domains: Grants access to domain registrations and details.
  • Manage Domain Settings: Allows the user to manage domain names, nameservers, and transfers.

If you send an invitation to an email address for an existing account, they can access the client account using their existing login credentials. If the email address does not correspond to an existing account, they can create one.
