You can use your cPanel login details to access your Web Disk. For enhanced security, you may also create an additional account that only has access to a specific directory within your account.
- Log into your cPanel account (e.g.,
www.example.com/cpanel). - In the "Files" section, click the "Web Disk" icon.

- Under "Create an Additional Web Disk Account", enter the details for the new account you wish to create:
Username:folderx
Password: Enter a new password or use the Password Generator to create a secure password.
Directory: You may leave this blank to grant access to the entire home directory. To restrict access to a specific folder, enter the folder path (e.g.,public_html/folderx). The user will only be able to access this folder.
Permissions: Select the appropriate permission level.
Note: If you are using Windows OS, you will need to enable "Digest Authentication." However, if your server has an SSL certificate signed by a recognized certificate authority and you can connect securely over port 2078, you do not need to enable this option. - Click the "Create" button. Your new additional Web Disk account will be created, and you can use the new login details to access your Web Disk.
