How to Set the PHP Version per Domain, Using cPanel?

Do you have multiple domains and want to set a different PHP version for each domain? For example, you have the domains Example1 and Example2, and you want to use PHP 7 on Example2 and PHP 5.6 on Example1. You can easily do this from your cPanel by following these steps:

  1. Log into your cPanel account.
  2. In the "Software" section, click on the "MultiPHP Manager" icon.
    MultiPHP Manager Icon
  3. Scroll down to the bottom of the page, select your domain from the left side, and you will see the "PHP Version" option with a drop-down list on the right. Select the desired PHP version from the drop-down menu and click Apply.
    Select Domain and PHP Version
  4. To set PHP 5.6 for Example2, scroll down and select the example2 domain. Then set the PHP version to 5.6.
Select Second Domain and PHP Version

Congratulations! Both of your domains are now using different PHP versions.
