Some software requires an older version of PHP, such as 5.6, while others require PHP 7 or newer. If you need to switch PHP versions for your website, you can do so easily from cPanel by following these steps:
- Log into your cPanel account.
- In the "Software" section, click on the "MultiPHP Manager" icon.
- Scroll down to the bottom of the page, select your domain from the list on the left side of the screen. You will see a "PHP Version" option with a drop-down menu on the right. Select the desired PHP version from the menu and click the "Apply" button.
- Wait a few seconds for the changes to take effect. Your PHP version will be updated to the one you selected.
