Configure your iOS device to receive notifications and check your mail on the go.
Step 1
Open the Mail app from your iPhone or iPad Home screen.

Step 2
Select Other from the list of mail providers.

Step 3
Tap Add Mail Account.
Ensure the IMAP tab is selected at the top.
- Name: Your Name
- Email: Your full email address
- Password: Your email password
- Description: A label (e.g., "Work Email")
Tap Next when finished.

Step 4
Verification may take a few minutes.
Once the account is added, return to your Home Screen and tap Settings to verify your connection details.

Scroll down and tap Mail (or Mail, Contacts, Calendars on older iOS versions).

Tap Accounts, then select the email account you just created.

Tap your Account (email address) to view the advanced settings.

Verify your Incoming Mail Server settings:
- Hostname: Your domain name (e.g.,
mail.example.com) or server hostname. - Username: Your full email address (e.g.,
[email protected]). - Password: Your email password.

Tap SMTP under the "Outgoing Mail Server" section.

Step 10
Ensure the Primary Server status is On.

Step 11
Verify your Outgoing Mail Server settings:
- Hostname: Your domain name (e.g.,
example.com). - Username: Your full email address.
- Password: Your email password.
- Use SSL: Off (unless using port 465).
- Server Port: 587 (Use 465 if SSL is On).
