Training
20% of the working-age population in the UK have a disability or long-term condition.
15-20% of the population are neurodivergent, for example dyslexic, dyspraxic, ADHD, or autistic.
83% of people acquire a disability throughout their working lives, either gradually or suddenly.
1 in 4 of the population experience a mental health challenge each year, maybe more in recent times.
Challenging the many myths and misconceptions that exist around disability and neurodiversity is essential if we are to create spaces where people can thrive. We specialise in neurodiversity, mental health and unseen conditions (also known as hidden or invisible disabilities) and seek to reframe the conversation in a supportive and positive way.
We use our extensive experience to bring training to life with numerous practical, solution focused examples of ways to encourage conversations, support people to work to their strengths and fulfil legal obligations, and design inclusive environments.
We offer a range of online and face-to-face training sessions and workshops, many of which are written bespoke to client requirements.
We offer training aimed at:
- Senior Leaders
- Recruiters and Talent Attraction teams
- Human Resources and Occupational Health teams
- Line Managers
- Colleagues
- IT and Facilities/Estates teams
“Kate was so engaging, and the information was a good balance of detailed enough but broad enough. Being given time in groups to apply the information to our own services was so helpful.
I have learnt so much from this training, it’s been a great eye opener and very motivating in wanting to do our very best in this area of inclusion.“
