Treatment Points by Area

  • Wrinkle Botox

    Dermal Layer Injection

Wrinkle Botox is injected shallowly into the dermis, which is close to the skin surface, to reduce muscle movement. This helps prevent deep wrinkles and smooths existing ones.

  • Muscle Botox

    Muscle Layer Injection

Muscle Botox is injected deeply into the muscle layer to shrink excessively developed muscles. This reduces the size of the muscles, resulting in smoother and slimmer facial and body lines.

How does Botox work, and what are its effects?

Botox is an injection-based treatment that uses botulinum toxin to block the release of acetylcholine, a neurotransmitter responsible for muscle movement. This process temporarily paralyzes muscles, helping to reduce wrinkles on the forehead, between the brows, and around the eyes. It is also effective in reducing overdeveloped muscles.

How painful is Botox treatment?

The pain level varies by individual, but it is generally described as a mild stinging sensation, similar to a standard injection. The level of discomfort may vary depending on the treatment area and drug concentration. To reduce pain, numbing cream or ice packs can be applied before the procedure.

What precautions should be taken after Botox treatment?

After the procedure, avoid alcohol and smoking, as well as hot environments such as saunas and steam rooms. Additionally, do not rub or massage the treated area to prevent unwanted diffusion of the toxin.

Which areas can Botox be applied to?

Botox is effective in treating wrinkles on the forehead, frown lines, and crow’s feet. It is also used for jaw slimming (masseter muscles), calf reduction, and trapezius muscle slimming. Additionally, Botox can provide pore reduction and skin tightening benefits.

Will Botox lose its effectiveness if done too frequently?

Frequent Botox treatments may cause antibodies to develop, leading to resistance against the toxin. To prevent resistance, it is recommended to adjust the treatment intervals or lower the dosage.

When do the effects of Botox start to appear?

Results are not immediately visible after treatment. Typically, effects begin to appear within 7–14 days, with results lasting 4–6 months.

How long is the recovery time after Botox?

Most people can resume normal activities immediately after the procedure. However, minor bruising or swelling may occur, which usually subsides within 1–2 weeks.
