🌏 In spring 1985, a Clarion University senior joined a band trip to Mexico, learning bass clarinet for the opportunity. Arriving in Mexico City, the group performed at Palacio de Bellas Artes, experiencing its acoustics. They played three concerts, including one at Sinfonia del Mar in Acapulco. The visit included Teotihuacan and pulque tasting. Their final day coincided with Easter Sunday. Notably, five months later, an earthquake hit Mexico City, sparing the opera house.

Opened by Ziad Halub and Farsin Rabiee in 2024, Logma evolved from their supper club series. The cafe spans 32 square meters with a communal table for 18 diners. Designed elements include a pistachio bar and cherry wood table crafted by Jones Neville, with decorative elements like chandeliers and a painting by Carlos Bellido Flores.

Robert Natale Becomes CEO of Sixpenny, Launches New Wild Air Collection Featuring Brand's First Print

The collection is available at the Sixpenny Loft in Dumbo, Brooklyn, showcasing a California-cozy style.

Georges Nagelmackers Founded Compagnie Internationale des Wagons-Lits, Launching Orient Express on June 5, 1883

The Orient Express became an icon in the 1920s, offering luxurious travel with notable figures like Agatha Christie aboard. The original hotel for travelers is now a future Louis Vuitton palace hotel.
