ROBOT!FUTURE•AU
Over the milennia the walls that seperate the dimensions have worn thin, leaving a useful hole for your new lords and masters - a race of ancient hivemind robot warriors - to work their way in to your pleasant little worlds.
The bastard robots have taken over various worlds and dimensions but native resistance forces are starting to fight back. Freedom hackers, techno-warriors and cyber martyrs lead rebel cells in the revolution against the robots. Human-robotic hybridisation and bio-upgrades are commonly found and essential in the cybernetic war against the invaders - but these cybernetic implants make the user weak to computer viruses that enslave them to the robot cause.
tldr: everyone has guns, scars, stubble and cool enhancements. Nobody is happy and everybody hates the robots.
