Embird is a modular software suite using Basic Program as a central hub for other optional modules.
Embird Basic Program - Management, Conversion and Editing of Stitch Files
resizes, splits, edits, displays, prints and converts machine embroidery and quilting designs (patterns). Below modules are optional plug-ins for the basic Embird program.
Digitizing Tools
for digitizing of logos and other machine embroidery designs. Advanced tools like automatic outlines, trace tool and freehand digitizing. Optional lettering and import of vector graphics (see Font Engine below).
Sfumato Stitch - Embroidery from Photos
allows easy and fast digitizing of multicolored portraits and other designs from photos. Stitches form looser or heavier meanders to create a shading effect that approximates a photo. This plug-in is an optional part of Studio.
Embird Cross Stitch
allows to digitize cross stitch designs, even with outlines and user-defined fill patterns. All popular cross stitch styles are supported: normal cross, mini-cross, elongated horizontal cross, elongated vertical cross, upright cross, double cross and French knot.
Font Engine - Lettering with TrueType and OpenType Fonts
Fonts- into- embroidery lettering conversion program. Vertical lettering, unicode characters, custom text baseline, envelope (great for monograms) and number of other features. Also allows to convert vector files from graphic software to stitches in the Embird basic program and Studio.
Iconizer - displays embroidery and image files content
instead of common Windows icons. Helps to organize machine embroidery designs, photos and images.
