The Promotion of Language Assessment Literacy Award is designed to honor individuals, teams or organizations dedicated to advancing language assessment literacy among educators, stakeholders and the broader academic community. This award recognizes efforts to improve understanding of language testing and assessment principles and practices, thereby empowering educators to design, interpret and utilize assessments more effectively. For example, the recipients may have planned and implemented innovative professional development workshops or created accessible training materials for educators. Recipients of this award have demonstrated exceptional commitment to making language assessment concepts accessible and relevant, fostering a deeper appreciation of fair, equitable and affective assessment.
