Anyway, I stayed up wayyy too late last night and wrote a little Independence Day inspired ficlet in some random universe which is not one of of the 10 universes that are between blueandbrady and I. I am making money though, not enough to live on my own and take care of myself but enough to make my student loan payments and do fun things, like go see Nick Jonas on Broadway at the end of March!!!! with blueandbrady!!

I finally joined the real world and got myself some Netflix too so I've been trying to watch as much Friday Night Lights as work and my emotions allow. UGH. IT IS SUCH A GREAT SHOW. I'm not sure why there isn't fic about Eric Taylor and Lewis Nixon being maudlin twin brothers. The internet should get on that.

Also, I've been reading A Song of Ice and Fire let's talk about feelings. JFC. It gives me feels and makes me rage and isn't that what makes something great?

Hi! I figured since I haven't updated since the SEVENTH of last month I should probably do that. Oh Livejournal. I can't forsake you. I promise every time that I'll get back into the habit but I'm probably mostly lying. BUT HI.

I've only got a week and a half of undergrad left. Two papers and a test and I'll be done! Oh good heavens. I'm so not looking forward to the papers but I'll get them done.

Then it's headed back home to start looking for a jerb and probably watching Aunt Peach a few days a week. Which, ooh how fun. NOT. ugh.

Things I've Been Doing:

+Rewatch of Band of Brothers with pressdbtwnpages We're almost done only Why We Fight and Points left.

+ Yesterday I went to see Drive Angry in 3D. It was so awesomely bad I can't recommend it for a laugh enough. The ending song was HILARIOUS. My friend Richard and I burst out laughing. It was fabulous. So many gratuitous boobies! HIS NAME IS JOHN MILTON, BTW. LOLOLOLOLOL

+ I started watching True Blood because of my 254 class which is basically Dracula class since all we did was read Dracula and watch True Blood. So. That's fun. I'm about to start season 3. and I have mostly rage-y feelings about the show. Am..am I supposed to hate Sookie a lot? It's gotten better since the first season but damn girl. Obvious things are obvious like omg!!11one!!eleven Eric/Godric!!!one!!!11! and also Sam. Sam is the best and he gets all of my love.

+ I downloaded the photoshop to make crack graphics for blueandbrady's Dick/Nick/Nix College AUs, versions 2 & 3. It is great fun but I'm horrible at it. PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT. But I need better quality caps, that's for sure.

Um so yeah. That's pretty much it.

Hi Lj. I'm on you nearly every day. I just don't update about what's going on. I probably should. Athens has been pretty ok but honestly I'm only here four nights and four days. The other I spent half-Sunday and Half-Thursday at home but whatever. I'm going to make an effort to stick around here for a weekend or so. I can't tell you how awesome it is to go into the kitchen have literally none of the dishes be yours, therefore not your responsibility. It's AWESOME.

The girls are ok. I hang out downstairs sometimes which forces them to hang out with me. Haha. I've been trying to hang out with my friend Bryan but he doesn't have any free time really and my friend Richard lives a bit away and there's no where to park here so we don't see each other as often as I'd like.I sent a message to a kid from high school to see if he wanted to get lunch at some point.

I had a mini freak out at the bookstore today because they actually had the book I'd been looking for. I literally think I said, "THANK THE LORD, PRAISE JESUS AND THE REST OF THEM!" and the girl was frankly, I think shocked. She said, "We don't usually get people so excited about textbooks." Which granted, it was $30 BUT. I was like 'NOT TODAY. YOU ARE SAINTS OF TEXTBOOKS!" Mostly because I didn't want to get my ass reamed for not having it in class/I don't have to buy it online, which I find a hassle.

Anyway, we watched True Blood in class today? I can't tell if I'm interested or not, I'm mostly "eh" about it. Whatever.

Things I've been doing include, sleeping, being miserable, and going to class!

My first couple of days of classes have been fine. I like all three of my teachers. One is an awesome older lady who wears turtlenecks and oversized jeans with sneakers. She loves Dracula and I find her awesome. Also, I like that I'm learning new ways to think about writing. It's really nice. One of my professors is a young lady who is tiny and cute and although she surprised me today with the face of an actor that I don't particularly care for, I'll forgive her. Because she's fun and I know I can bust out the term "manpain" in her class and she'll love it. The third professor is a dude, who's given name is "Hogan" Come on. Winner right there. He's fun and despite his views on PC v Mac and how he wants to shove them on me, I think I can learn from him. Now if only I could find the book for his class! I've checked the bookstore for three days! Whateves, no big. He's also easy on the eyes. ;)

Still too lazy to go get my car and go buy food. So I've been eating one big meal a day and then snacking on peanut butter and wheat thins. I also bought oreos to dip in my peanut butter. Haha. I plan on grocery shopping while I'm at home this weekend. Besides it's only been three days, I just hope it's not indicative of the rest of the quarter.

I got a universal remote which is totally awesome, I can put my TV on sleep now. :D And I'm almost finished with a Band of Brothers rewatch. I so do love this show.

Also I've been so frustrated with my computer. It won't read the wireless all the time? So I have to shut down and restart several times until the wireless reads and then treat the connection carefully. It's really putting a cramp in my style. I'll deal with it.

Well, 2011 is here and I figure I should probably update!

New Years was fun! Heather and I went between Athens and home. Athens to visit our friend Sarah who was in from Iowa and home to spend the night on Marble Mountain with Matt, Cale, and Bryan. They're fun. We played pool and they drank and Bryan ended up chasing not only Caleb but Matt's dog Bernie all over the house. Bernie is awesome. If you alert him to the fact he has a tail he goes batshit insane and tries to eat it. It's pretty cute.

In other news, I'm all moved into my sublet! It's fucking freezing and I feel weird living with these people that don't know me but it's only for a few weeks. It'll be fun, I'm sure. Last night when I went to put my car away I made the mistake of thinking the walk home was going to be easy. I ended up having to stop halfway at W.G. Grinders to get some food and rest. I was shaking! D: No good. When I finally got home I found out we didn't have any internet because of the guys who cleaned the floor over break, dicks. But it is remedied now.

As for school, I have two classes on Monday and Wednesday. They're both my English classes. So one is a research and writing class and we're reading Dracula and the other is a focus on an English author class and is primarily about Keats. Also, I think Percy Shelley has some grand meaning for me, he keeps popping up lately. WHAT DOES IT MEAN!?

On the music front, I've fallen in love with Frances England. She's the artist behind "Blueberry Pancakes" which is featured in that Bisquick commercial. She's a children's folk artist and I love her music. It's so cute and catchy.

I made the Dean's List for this quarter! So effectively, going back to my regional campus did EXACTLY what it was supposed to do! BOLSTER MY GPA FROM ALL THE BRUTAL BEATINGS IT TOOK BECAUSE I AM RUBBISH AT FRENCH. My mom's gonna be stoked!

ION: My laptop has arrived but I have not played with it yet, as it is a Christmas gift. And whether or not I might have given him the idea, Nick Jonas totally actually wrote/helped record/produced a rock opera track. SO. THAT'S HOW THINGS ARE. I mean other than them generally sucking because I have to sit and stare at Aunt Peach all day.

I love you guys. You're all amazing and perfect and beautiful. Let's talk about sunshine and daisies all day long. (and by sunshine and daisies I mean dirty filthy manpain ridden fanfic universes!)

So. Finished with the quarter! I'm so relieved! So much science, ugh. It went by really fast, too fast almost. I'm not ready yet! I'm moving back to Athens in just over a month. A month. To which:

- New Roommates: OH MY GOD. THEY ARE THE SWEETHEARTS FOR THE BETA FRAT HOUSE DOWN THE ROAD. If I am surrounded by Frat dudes nearly every day I'm going to need TONS of college AUs to balance my life out. Oh god. I'm horrified and excited at the same time. I'm horrified because the idea of living with these girls that I have nothing in common especially given my proclivities~. But excited because it's Athens and I've never lived with people I don't know before. So. LET'S DO THIS. (also totally getting Ninja Turtles sheets. I am the coolest)

Yesterday I went to Pittsburgh to see Action Item and Allstar Weekend again. Action Item were fabulous and adorable. I had a great time seeing them again. Allstar were ok, I guess. Feedback kept coming out of Zach's microphone and Nathan looked like he'd rather be somewhere else. Which made me sad but whatever, they were still good and they covered Magic by B.o.B. It was bomb.

Driving in Pittsburgh was crazy. Like I knew where I was but they have so many goddamned one ways. I went the wrong way down one. WHOOPS. And some lady was like looking at me like "YOU CAN'T GO THAT WAY." and I was like "I KNOW BUT THERE'S NOTHING I CAN DO ABOUT IT NOW!" Rawr. but I got parked, and the valet dude was also an asshole. But I found one good person in Pittsburgh, a very nice lady actually just straight up gave me a ticket. Which was very nice of her, she didn't have to do that. I asked her how much and she's like, "You can just have it, use your money to buy a t-shirt or something." HOW NICE. I found her later and thanked her again. She gave me a hug too. :)

Tomorrow is THANKSGIVING. YAY. SO MUCH YAY. I made these cheeseball crescent roll things tonight that I'm going to bake off tomorrow. Here's hoping they turn out.

Third: After Les Nick, Hilary and I are hooking up with blueandbrady to get some Mad Mex and some lolz. Then I'm staying at Hilary's.

Fourth: I'm beasting to Zanesville to fix up my paper and turn it in and take two exams, one at 2 p.m. and one at 5:30 p.m. Will probably go to the Army Navy Store in between. :)

Fifth: WAIT AROUND FOR HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS PART ONE MIDNIGHT SHOW. WITH A BUNCH OF MY FAVORITE SKANKS. :D :D :D Then drive back to my house ridiculously late.

Sixth: Wake up hella early and make some brownies and drive to Athens to see if I can get a parking spot for Winter Quarter and meet my new roommates. I am especially nervous about this that I'm having nightmares about it. :/ I'm living with four girls that I don't know and I'm fairly certain they're sorority girls and I just don't know what this entails for me. It's only three months. It's only three months.

Seventh: cry about forking over $1300 at one time.

Eighth: Drive from Athens to Massillion to possibly babysit if I am needed. Meaning if my brother doesn't get called out, I'm just hanging with him and Smeals all day. which is exciting because she knows how the zombie goes guys, and it goes "grrrrrr"

Other things NOT on this list include:

-Being super excited that Brady is almost done with her school stuff so she can write me H3SCAUV2 all the time again.

-Only having a final left on the 23rd to do.

-I bought a "Hang Tough" wristband because I love Dick Winters beyond reason.

-I'm fairly certain new roommmates had a friend of theirs friend me on Facebook to stalk out my profile more in depth. I laughed but it's probably part of the nightmare fuel other than me being nervous about it. WHAT IF THEY DON'T LIKE ME?!

-The wind is crazy strong tonight, it blew open the basement door and the door to the basement upstairs. I sincerely hope there are no cats down there. :D
