Dad Jokes
“Welcome to Park Lake Park,” said the girl in the booth, smiling widely.
“Which is it?” Dad laughed.
Her smile flickered. “It’s both. Day pass or camping pass?”
“For Park Lake Park Campground Camp?” Dad went at her again.
“Just the day,” I said over him, showing our tickets.
She stamped the tickets and gave them back with a pamphlet.
“There’s parking and trails on here, and some information about the birds. Have a nice day.”
I thanked her and rolled away before Dad could open his mouth.
“Let’s have a look at this Park Lake Park Parking Map then.”
