If you wanna be added, then I'd better know you from somewhere else. I have a strange need to be friends with people on my friendslist, and that isn't going to happen if I don't know you from Adam's off ox.

• Comment and say hi! Who are you (what are you doing in that handbasket?), where do I know you from, etc!
• Friend and unfriend at will! Feel free to tell me why, or not tell me, whatever. It's your life; you do what you like.
• Tolerance is the watchword. You have your opinions, I have mine. I am all about debate and discussion. If you're not willing to, then refrain from comment in the first place. Respect my space and I'll respect yours.
• Please understand that although I can be tactless, thoughtless and insensitive, I'm not mean. I don't say anything in this journal with the intention to hurt my friends. If I do, you need to tell me. I promise not to hold it against you!
• What is posted under friendslock, stays under friendslock. I cannot stress enough how strongly I feel about this. Anyone breaking friendslock will be unfriended and banned from every journal and community I control. Plus, I'll say really mean things about you behind your back. The deepest circle of Hell is reserved for cowards, traitors, and people who break friendslock.
• Comments to this post are all screened. There are reasons for this, but basically it is just me being quirky.

If I have unfriended you, it is most likely because you never post and never comment, or our interests no longer match. Either that or you made me feel like a jerk in my own journal. If it's anything else... you'll know why.
