Er, so following the last rant post. I have now decided to make the move to Dreamwidth. Just following by BFF irrevokable, really. Also. crying out my emotions onto a keyboard is good for my soul and so completely required at this point in my life.

So catch me over there, if there is anyone else lurking out in the wilderness.

This is first in my Avengers series, so it makes sense I chose to draw the first Avenger. The delicious Steve Rogers.

Er. So I wrote fic. I'm not entirely sure how it happened. I was on Tumblr, forlorn over the last episode of Sherlock, then a realisation hit. Or should I say, a plot bunny bit. Two hours and three thousand words later this happened. I don't even know.

Title: Too Empty To Share
Author: elethoniel
Pairing(s): Implied Sherlock/John. Very brief John/OFC.
Rating: PG, only for a couple of swear words.
Words: 3,221 (I knew it was complete when I did a word count! :D)
Disclaimer: I own nothing. Sherlock and John belong to Mofftiss, the BBC, and ACD. This idea is also taken from a novel by Ceceila Ahern. That belongs to her beautiful brain. More notes at the end.
Warnings: Spoilers for The Reichenbach Fall! Also there is magical realism, angst, and a happy ending!
This is the first fic I've written in the Sherlock fandom, and the first I've written in years. Beta'd by myself, if there are any errors, please let me know :)

Summary: John finds himself in the place where the lost things go.

It happened one morning. He’d had a restless nightCollapse )

I HAS ART. I've not created any art, or at least fine pencil drawings, for such a long time. So, who better to herald my return to the glorious land of graphite, than Andrew Scott?! I'm really pleased with how this turned out! I did it all in one sitting over six hours.

I gave you my numberCollapse )

Subject: Benedict Cumberbatch
Artist: elethoniel
Media: Various graphite pencils. All purpose artists paper.
Notes: So, I'm posting this because I cannot figure out why it doesn't look like him. He has all the distinguishable features, yet there's something definitely off about this image, so I was hoping you guys could help! :D

Subject: Sherlock Holmes (as played by Benedict Cumberbatch)
Artist: elethoniel
Time taken: Roughly ten hours
Media: HB, 4B and 6B lead pencils. WHSmiths watercolour. All purpose artists paper
Notes: So this was intended to be a very quick sketch, but then I started to get into it and six hours later his face was complete. However, this does mean that I wasn't really paying particular attention to proportions or anything, hence why it looks a little off. Then decided to add watercolour instead of shading the rest and the result is beneath the cut!

Elementary, my dear WatsonCollapse )
