In 1987, as part of the Aker Solutions family, a team of subsea integrity specialists set out to digitise and simplify the way subsea inspection processes were managed. Coabis was born and became the industry standard for subsea integrity management across global offshore operations providing a structured, digital approach to integrity management at a time when the industry was still largely paper-based.
Over more than three decades, Coabis established itself as the backbone of subsea integrity management for some of the world's leading energy operators. The platform grew, evolved, and deepened its capability in step with the industry it served. It accumulated an unrivalled body of domain knowledge, operational insight, and customer trust that no new entrant could replicate. This is the foundation on which Elementz has been built.
Founded in 2020, Aize develops digital visualisation and digital twin technology to improve how industries operate. With strong roots in energy, it provides the platform and vision enabling the next step in subsea integrity management and a more connected digital asset management tool environment.
Elementz was founded as a subsidiary of Aize, bringing together the accumulated domain knowledge and customer trust of the Coabis legacy with the technological capability, cloud-native architecture, and software delivery excellence of the Aize platform.
The Integrity Elementz software is a next-generation, modular, cloud-based platform reimagining of what subsea integrity management could be, acting as a scalable asset tracking solution across complex subsea infrastructure. In its first 14 months, Elementz secured customers across four continents, established itself as a credible and growing player in the global offshore integrity market, and laid the strategic foundations.
Compass - our Strategic Customer Advisory Board - was created to bring together leading energy operators to actively co-create the Integrity Elementz platform, validating priorities, shaping the roadmap, and providing the operator endorsement that accelerates adoption across new sectors.
Tide Breaker - our subsea AI accelerator - designed to connect the brightest AI innovators with operator challenges, building a growing ecosystem of validated, interoperable AI capabilities that extend the platform's intelligence without requiring operators to take on the risk of unproven technology.
Together, Compass and Tide Breaker transformed Elementz from a software provider into an ecosystem builder.
Elementz enters its next phase with a proven platform, a growing community of operators and innovators. We are building the definitive subsea infrastructure platform by standardising how subsea infrastructure is managed and protected across oil and gas, offshore renewables, telecommunications, power and utilities, and defence.
The expansion from a vertical solution to a horizontal platform is already underway.
