CAPTURE Academy
CAPTURE is developing a series of Massive Open Online Courses (MOOC) on resource recovery technologies. This online training offer is freely accessible to anyone interested in resource recovery technologies having sufficient background in chemistry and physics/mathematics. This training is self-paced, attractive, of high-quality, tailored to the audience and modular so learners can learn anything, anytime, anywhere.
Thermochemical recycling
This course focuses on pyrolysis and gasification as major technologies for the chemical recycling of plastic waste. Learn the importance of adequate recycling processes for plastic waste streams, for when mechanical recycling is not an option.

PLASTICE – Training Materials
Our sistor project, PLASTICE, made some training materials, split in three modules, to explain their technology pathways for building circular plastic value chains.
Each unit includes a video lesson in which project researchers and engineers guide you through key innovations in chemical recycling, and a downloadable PDF summary with key concepts, process steps, and takeaways to support learning.
Please click on the module picture to access the content.
Module 1: Innovative technologies to enable circular plastic value chains
Module 2: Testing the technologies
Module 3: Policy Alignment: towards a coherent and supportive framework for plastic recycling
