Saturday salutations!–

Here I am
saluting you,

before I sally forth
with a tad of sass
and sense of fun,

but never losing sight
of my true north,

and while I yet
have you in view,

my wish in mind
is that you, too,
will love to live
this very day
in your own way,
and do a few
of these very same things,

to the very happy point
at which you feel
your heart sings.
