CHEW ON IT

Take a day
to chew on it
whatever it is
sense into it–
the hardness,
softness,
texture,
stiffness, flexure,
smoothness, grit,
warmth or chill
the stillness
or the fizz. . .

sit with the pleasure
and or
unpleasantness
and let it be
what it will be:

the unexpected joy, release,
or grip of deeper difficulty. . .

and journey toward a deeper peace
and easier, love-powered choice,
of direction and activity
and vision spanning greater scope
than what our shining eyes could ever see.
