European Historical Economics Society Conference, 4 to 6 September 2025, University of Hohenheim

On behalf of the European Historical Economics Society and the local Committee (Gerda Asmus-Bluhm, David Knauß, Kerstin Schneider and Yasmina Wardere) I am delighted to invite you to participate in the sixteenth EHES Conference. The conference will be held at the University of Hohenheim, Thursday 4 to Saturday 6 September, 2025.

The program Committee consists of Jörg Baten (Tübingen), Mikołaj Malinowski (Groningen), Anna Missiaia (Gothenburg), Sibylle Lehmann-Hasemeyer (Hohenheim), and Eric Schneider (LSE).

We are pleased to announce that Professor Mary O’Sullivan (Geneva) will be our keynote speaker. The provisional title of her keynote is Putting “modern economic growth” in its historical place.
