Our Mission & Areas of work

Our Mission

In an economic world that is becoming more and more complex and unpredictable, political decisions need to be made on facts and figures. Several European sectoral employers have developed an institutional framework to conduct research on some specific issues of common interest to their respective sectors that deserve the collection of specific data and case studies.  The European Employers’ Institute is thus established to bring a stronger voice for employers in the EU by presenting research studies and evidence on social policy to decision makers and legislators. The European Employers’ Institute also aims to complement the work of European Trade Union Institute (ETUI) by offering the employers’ perspective and ensuring a balanced presentation of employment-related issues.

The institute works primarily on

  • Labour Market and Social Policy

  • Industrial Relations

  • Occupational Health & Safety

  • Impact of employment & social policy regulation on ease of doing business

  • Transformation and Structural Changes in workplaces

Our research work focuses on cross-sectoral topics as well as industry-focused ones, providing sectoral benchmarks from a European perspective
