The Events Education & Workforce Development Federation exists to support the people behind the experiences — the professionals, freelancers, vendors, technicians, creatives, producers, and businesses whose work powers events of every kind.
From corporate conferences and festivals to sports, weddings, fundraisers, and political conventions, the events industry fuels local economies and creates careers — yet it lacks a unified voice, clear career pathways, and access to consistent workforce support.

That includes working toward:
• Formal workforce classification (including a future NAICS Code)
• Modernized national career cluster frameworks
• Expanded O*NET job definitions that reflect the real jobs people do
