doing stuff is goodCreative expression within games has always been part of me: from messing with Minecraft redstone, to level editors, to gamemastering in various TTRPGs, to now videogame development. Game development is a type that so far I find most fulfilling. I believe it comes through the interactive elements - something about it clicks different as compared to media that is enjoyed passively.
Jams are one of my favorite activities, and I do about 6 of them every year.
After racking thousands of hours in all kinds of videogames, its really hard to nail down a single genre or category I enjoy the most. I like experimental/weird games, immersive narrative-driven games, puzzle games, high-pace action games, psychological horror games, and cozy/cute games. It's a wide range!
Design-wise I'd mention Resident Evil (2002), Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, and Dota 2 as some favorites.
I also really enjoy movies. lol

Should provide an experience with an ending and all that
These games might feature obvious bugs and whatnot so as that I feel they are considered prototypes instead of actual games lmao
