EDFC is a 501c3 non-profit organization, originally formed by the cities and county in 1995 to be the lead agency for economic development in Mendocino County. Led by an 12 member board of directors made up of representatives from each of the city jurisdictions, the business and banking sectors, as well as local community leaders. EDFC provides alternative financing opportunities through our loan programs. In 2013 EDFC was certified as a Community Development Financial Institution. (CDFI)

EDFC is a not-for-profit organization and has been providing business financing in Mendocino County since 1995. In 2013 EDFC was certified as a Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI). EDFC serves Mendocino, Lake and Sonoma counties.
