Eden

Eden is a free and open-source Nintendo Switch emulator for Windows, built from the original Yuzu code—just like Citron. Written in C++, it's designed to be easily portable to other platforms like Android and Linux.

Low system requirements, high performance

You won't need a high-end rig to run most Switch games smoothly with Eden. A basic CPU like Intel Core i5-4430 or AMD Ryzen 3 1200 will work, though an Intel Core i5-11400 or AMD Ryzen 5 3600 is ideal. For graphics, a GeForce GT 1050 4GB or Radeon R7 240 4GB is the minimum, while the NVIDIA GeForce GT 1050 4GB or AMD Radeon RX 550 4GB are solid recommended choices. 8GB of RAM is enough to start, but 16GB is recommended for better performance.

Once you have installed the Decryption Keys and the latest Firmware version of the console, you'll be able to start running any video game you have downloaded. You choose the controls you want to use

From the Eden settings, you can easily customize the emulator controls. By default, the emulator lets you use your PC keyboard as if it were a Pro Controller, but there are many more options. You can change the control scheme however and whenever suits you, choosing between Dual Joycons, only the right Joycon, only the left Joycon, the console handheld mode, or the GameCube controller. Of course, if you have a gamepad connected to your PC, you can set it up and play with it. Many of the best Switch video games play particularly well with an Xbox or PlayStation controller.

Eden supports over 1,500 titles—roughly 85% of the Switch library. What's more, over 60% of the games, including some of the most popular titles, work perfectly.
