Control per asset with smart coordination per site

We make decisions per asset. Each asset has its own characteristics. For batteries we look at state of charge, depreciation, round trip efficiency, Depth of Discharge and network tariffs. For solar and wind we look at the curtailment threshold which we base on SDE subsidy and GVO revenues. We do not throw everything on one pile. That lets us act smarter for each asset. At the same time we coordinate at site level. If several assets want to act at the same time we choose the action that improves the total outcome. Think of solar production with a threshold for curtailment. By steering at the smallest level and guarding the whole at the same time you get more out of the same installations.

We also look back. For large sites we can compare several strategies after the fact. This shows what a different approach would have meant. It gives direction for the next step without guesswork.

Full control over data and execution

We have our own market access and our own BRP integration. This means we do not have to wait for third party time windows. We choose when to act. That gives room to experiment and to learn fast. BRP is the Balance Responsible Party that keeps supply and demand in balance.

Because we control the chain ourselves we have direct access to all relevant data. If our analysts believe an extra signal is valuable we can add it without dependencies. That speeds up the whole learning process.

Transparency that builds trust

We work with a dashboard that feels like an open kitchen. You see what is happening and what it delivers. On the invoice we split earnings per asset behind the meter.
