Created in 2016, ESI's Community Data Analytics (CDA) team is the nation's leader in analyzing American Community Survey Public Use Microdata Sample to provide up-to-date customized demographic studies for communities.

Our clients include public agencies, fiscal specialists, and the development industry who want to better understand the fiscal specialists, and the development industry who want to better understand the fiscal, school, demographic and traffic impacts of development proposals and general plan revisions.

CDA is supported by a team of experienced planners, analysts, modelers and econometricians. The team recently completed a demographic study of multifamily development for the 9-county region served by the Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission.

The CDA team has also released state reports on two sets of residential multipliers: school-age children and average household size. All reports are offered to the public for free and can be downloaded here.
