Our mission

ECIO is the knowledge partner for vocational, higher professional and university institutions that want to work on inclusive education, student wellbeing and a smooth transition from education to work. Since the introduction of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, inclusive education is no longer a choice, but a legal obligation. ECIO helps institutions to fulfil this obligation: from vision and policy to concrete tools and practical solutions. Because every student, with or without support needs, deserves the opportunity to learn, grow and move on to a suitable job.
