The goal of Relative Pitch ear training is to learn to follow the flow of music, effortlessly by ear. The Ear Training University (ETU) app was meticulously designed to provide a comprehensive approach to learning this skill. Whether you are a beginner or have experience with ear training, ETU's method is guaranteed to identify and address any weaknesses in your ear and systematically develop your sense of Relative Pitch.

Rather than offering a random assortment of exercises, we have carefully constructed a series of lessons that teach you the proper way to engage in ear training. These lessons consist of video instruction and interactive drills. The drills are already programmed with various settings, including tempo changes, to keep things engaging and challenging. All you need to do is follow along!

Your progress is easily tracked through the Lesson Cards, which provide an overview of your stats. This includes information such as when you started a lesson, the percentage completed, when you last visited a lesson, and when you completed it. Additionally, if you provide your music teacher's email address, they will receive progress reports each time you complete an activity.

The instructional videos demonstrate the correct way to perform the drills, which include listening drills, singing drills, and spelling drills. The videos serve as motivation throughout your learning journey.

The most effective way to learn Relative Pitch is by incorporating both singing drills and listening drills. Singing actively engages your learning process, while listening provides passive reinforcement. ETU's interactive drills make it easy for everyone to learn Relative Pitch using this method.
