The E6BJA Flight Computer is a powerful software-based digital computer for practising performing aeronautical and flight calculations speedily and easily. Inspired by the Whiz-wheel (e.g. E6B, CR-1, CRP-1, CRP-5 etc), an ingenious and excellent teaching tool, and designed to replace handheld electronic digital flight computers (e.g. CX-3), the E6BJA software app is rich in features, powerful and efficient. It can be installed on a phone or tablet --- for convenience --- and has a number of advantages over the whiz-wheel; calculations are simpler and quicker to perform, with less margin of error, better reproducibility and is less error-prone.
