Wandering Pen Blog

Wandering Pen started as a vague blog with articles about remote work and digital nomadism. Since I found the topics as dry as dust, I turned to something I was more passionate about – fiction writing.

Over time, I grew tired of things like ’email marketing’ and ‘niche keywords’ and realized that the true purpose of life was to just be ME. Wandering Pen has evolved to be not just a blog, but my pseudonym for English writings. Sonia Dcosta, the writer behind Wandering Pen, also writes in Konkani as Saraswati.

The Wandering Pen Blog is like a bonfire, a relaxing space in which I offer my writing and teaching services, share poetry and flash fiction, and trace the journey of my novels.

Discovering Chafra

Welcome to a journey into the world of Konkani literature!!

The Discovering Chafra blog is a living companion to a much larger project: a biography of Chafra, the well-known Konkani writer, poet, journalist, playwright, activist, and orator. I invite you to join me as I gather and explore the works of Chafra and his wife, Nandini.

Here, you will find a collection of articles exploring the richness of the Konkani language and literature. You will also discover ‘Sopo,’ a special section dedicated to the works of the Dcosta family—Chafra, Nandini, Saraswati, and Vinod.

Please come in, explore, and be a part of this unfolding story.
