how to get started in nude photogrphy

Several of my friends seem to be interested in obtaining (tasteful, artful) nude photographs of
themselves. But they all say things like they want someone experienced in these sort of things,
not just some drooling horny guy with a camera.

So how do you get experience taking nude pictures of people?
