Personal outsourcing?
Dear Dr. Wrong,
This article on outsourcing by Edward Yourdon suggests looking on the bright side of outsourcing by looking for "personal outsourcing" opportunities, with the interesting analogy that going to McDonald's is outsourcing the kitchen work.
OK, it's actually an interesting and fairly well-balanced article, with some info that's news to me (China and India are working together to grow their outsourcing opportunities), but I'm a bit bemused. Can you suggest any personal use I could find for over-the-internet outsourcing? Keep in mind that I kind of like doing my taxes and balancing my checkbook by hand.
My cube neighbor down the hall suggested "counselling" but I'm not sure why that would be a good idea since I could come right here to this community for that.
