Surveys during bunkering are necessary to make sure that the quantity mentioned on the bunker delivery receipt is actually received on board. In this case, our surveyor will assess the quantity of bunkers on board of the delivering barge and on board of the receiving vessel. All this before commencement of bunkering and after completion of bunkering. The difference between the contents before and after bunkering is the actual delivered quantity.
