    Will I get a certificate after completing the course?

    Yes, on successful completion of drone pilot training you will be awarded with DGCA-approved Remote Pilot Certificate (RPC).

    Yes, Drone Pathshala does offer placement assistance.

    • Minimum Age: 18 Years
    • Education: 10th Pass
    • Valid ID (Aadhaar / Passport)
    • Medical Fitness Certificate
    • Basic Understanding of English

    The average monthly salary for new hires with a Remote Pilot Certificate (RPC) in 2026 is between ₹25,000 and ₹45,000. Salaries typically range from ₹60,000 to ₹90,000+ per month for pilots with one to two years of expertise in specialised disciplines like industrial inspection or LiDAR.

    To enroll in an RPTO, you must:

    • Be between 18 and 65 years of age.
    • Have passed at least Class 10th (high school) from a recognized board.
    • Be an Indian citizen (foreign nationals require special MHA/MoCA clearance).

    A Remote Pilot Certificate (RPC) is mandatory for all commercial operations and for flying any drone weighing more than 250g (Micro, Small, Medium, and Large categories). You do not need a license for Nano drones (<250g) flown for non-commercial/recreational use in Green Zones.

    No. There is no requirement for prior aviation experience. The RPTO course is designed to take a beginner through both theory and practical flight.
    Most standard courses for “Small Category” drones (the most common for mapping and photography) last 5 to 7 days. This includes ground school (theory), simulator sessions, and practical flying.
    No. While some theory might be offered via webinars, the DGCA requires in-person practical training at an approved RPTO site to qualify for a certificate.
    Once issued via the DigitalSky platform, the RPC is valid for 10 years, provided you maintain your medical fitness.
