Welcome to the DREAM Center!

The Delivering Resources, Education, Access, and Mentorship (DREAM) Center is a national technical assistance center funded by the Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP) of the U.S. Department of Education. We are committed to supporting programs that develop and train special education personnel who provide services under Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) to infants, children, and their families.

Together, we’re building pathways to success for institutions of higher education (IHEs) and individuals committed to making a meaningful impact in the lives of children with disabilities.

Based at Florida International University, the DREAM Center is here to empower you with:

Our Purpose

At the DREAM Center, we are dedicated to empowering all institutions of higher education (IHEs) to excel in preparing the next generation of special education personnel. Our mission goes beyond resources—we provide technical assistance, training, mentorship, and opportunities for networking and collaboration to ensure faculty and programs have the tools they need to thrive.

Together, we’re building pathways to success for institutions and individuals committed to transforming the lives of infants, children, and youth with disabilities.

We strive to support IHEs in:

Developing and enhancing high-quality degree and certification programs in early intervention, early childhood special education, special education, and related services.

Securing Federal grants that fuel program development and implementation, paving the way for innovative solutions and stronger preparation of special education personnel.
