So, I have been taking pole fitness class, which is awesome, except I took 6 weeks off because of the holidays, and just had my first class back. OMG, I am in pain already, and dreading what I am going to feel like tomorrow morning. Damn nazi pole teacher with her lunges and hip circles in the warm-up....

On the other hand, I looked pretty damn cool doing pole spins tonight :)

I just got a new Macbook (converted by the hubby to the Dark Side) and had the urge to go on LJ and see what's up.

God, it sucks to only have 6 userpics - I should never have let my paid account lapse.

One of the first I remember is the L.A. Riots when I was about 7 years old. I remember watching it on TV, and seeing all the fire and chaos and angry people. It was pretty scary.

Got a tetanus shot at the MinuteClinic yesterday because I cut my hand on some rusty thing in the trashcan behind my apt... My arm effing hurts. :( Suppose it's better than Lockjaw...

In other news, am watching Alice (the sci-fi miniseries) right now. This is some weird shit. Not sure if I like it yet...

True conversation last night with my dear fiance:

Me: The landlord needs to turn up the freaking heat in here, I've been cold all day!

Julian: It's not that bad in here

Me: It feels like we're outdoors! We're not cavemen, we have modern conveniences, like heat! And besides, cavemen had things like furs, and fire pits and, and Mammoths!

Julian: Mammoths?

Me: Yeah, y'know, because they're big and furry and um, could keep you warm with their, uh, big furry trunks

Julian: Why do I have the feeling that I'm going to open up LJ tomorrow and find a story about Sam and Dean doing it on top of a Mammoth?

Me: Oh gross, mammoths would be stinky! And also, they're live animals!

Julian: Why is it that you protest the mammoth part and not the brothers fucking each other part?

Me: ...

Okay so, I'm a total perv, as you all know. Thus, when watching the opening credits of Stargate Universe, the only think I could really think of was how much The Destiny looks like a ginormous penis. Thus, I made a video. You know you want to watch it.

So, I made a video and I want to upload it to youtube or something similar, but when I uploaded it, YouTube blocks the audio because it says that the song is restricted or something. Anyone know how to get around this? Or, another video server to use? I want to be able to embed it into my journal post, if possible
