Here it is, prompt #239
And Drabylon's final prompt.

promo-3x14-05

Those that know me well know that I've been agonizing over this decision for months. The declining participation in our community has led me to pull the plug instead of allowing Drabylon to die a slow, ugly death. Melodramatic? Maybe. But I am a writer, after all.

I want to thank my2cats, kitasangel, and seanmegansean for assistance in selecting our final prompt. Personally, I think Brian and Justin were at their happiest in 314.

So. Drabylon will remain open, just on permanent hiatus. There are well over 250 different prompts to choose from if you want to post a drabble. I'll still be here for questions or problems. I'll keep the links as updated as I can. If a picture drops out of our lineup, leave a comment here or PM me and I'll get it back up. I'll keep tags updated. I'll approve new members that may want to browse (of course, the dob rule still applies).

Thank you to all of our writers and everyone that took the time to leave a comment. You all were the heart of Drabylon, and I thank you for allowing me to guide you for a time.

Hello, everyone. It's been a long time!

The holidays are once again upon us and in the spirit of the lovely xie_xie_xie's annual GUSMAS celebration,
I'd like to put out an offer to any Queer as Folk drabble writers still out there.

For each drabble written between now, November 28, 2013 and January 1, 2014, I will pledge $1.00 (one dollar) (up to $100.00) to The Ali Forney Center  in New York.  The Ali Forney Center's mission is to protect LGBTQ youth from homelessness and to support them in becoming safe and independent as they move from adolescence to adulthood.

Your writing prompts are the more than 250 drabylon prompts from past years.  Links to the prompts are on the right hand side of our home page.  All rules are the same and can be found on drabylon's user info page.

Spread the word!
If you want to make your own personal financial pledge, you can let us know in the comments.
Any questions, ask in the comments and I'll get back to you as soon as I can.

DRABBLE ON FOR A GREAT CAUSE!

Author: mander3_swish
Prompt: Dec. 19: Somehow I always knew this would happen
a/n: Drabylon Dollar, kinnetik_sun member, qaf_land member

Brian knew the day would come when his hand would be forced and an apology would be necessary. It came sooner in life than he was hoping; really he'd hoped to be dead and gone by now.

One of the rare and for real promises he made was to pick up condoms on his way back to Britin.

AND HE FORGOT.

But he did not in the least regret using his tongue, fingers, and teeth apologizing to Justin. All. Night. Long.

Nothing says 'I'm sorry' like a long, drawnout rim job that had Justin shouting Brian's name when he came.

Title: Cuffed
Author: mander3_swish
Prompt:

Craig was led into the parole hearing room, bound in handcuffs and wearing a prison uniform.

"It's like fucking deja vu," Debbie whispered - loudly - to Michael, but everyone around her heard. They all thought similarly. None of them wanted to be there, but they all felt they needed to at least try to help keep that monster behind bars. It was too soon and the mental wounds were still fresh even if the physical ones had long since healed.

"At least he's not wearing that hideous orange jumpsuit, like last time," Emmett said, trying to make light of the situation.

Title "I hate him"
Author ailes_de_verre
Beta None. Please bear with my mistakes
Pairing Kinney/Taylor
Timeline Season 1
Disclaimer Mr Kinney and Mr Taylor belong to Cowlip and each other, but they let me play^^
Words count 200 words
A/N Written for prompt #173 @ drabylon

I hate him. He props himself up and looks at me with that irritating childlike gaze. And he just stares. He falls again against the blue pillows, opens his mouth a couple of times, funnily resembling a goldfish. I know he’s going to say something ridiculously sweet and make me regret the offer, but I gotta admit the kid is learning fast, so he shuts down the words before they even form in his head.

“I know, Brian”

I hate when he pronounces my name. When the words leave his mouth, it’s not briankinney. My name on others people’s lips has been a plea, a curse, a moan drenched in desire. On Justin’s it’s Bri an, two short emissions of breath making me want to come inside him over and over, so I can feel my name quietly broken in two, dissonant, musical. I ran my hand along his spine, sliding against the curve of his head, pushing my knee in between his milky white thighs and he complies too gently for his own sake. I cover his body with mine and it happens again.

“Brian” he says.

With uttermost simplicity. And I know I gotta get rid of this kid. Now.

Beta:mander3_swish thank you!!!!
Disclaimer: I own nothing.
A/N: Ted/Emmett prompt.
Comments are most welcome.

"You should stay away from that stuff...I mean, at your age," Ted lectured as
he nodded towards the piece of bacon Emmett held in his hand.

Ted gave him a look, and continued, "Brian told me about a new diet he's
started. No fat, dairy, or carbs after seven."

"Oh,right, I've heard about Brian Kinney's diets, " Emmett snorted. "The guy
is turning 40 and still has the body of a god...and come on, I bet he has lots
of 'carbs' after seven", Emmet winked.

"Not carbs, protein," Ted smirked, as Emmett ate the rest of the bacon.
