This is the download service for dumps of OpenStreetMap data, preprocessed for use with the Photon geocoder. You can use these dumps to set up your own local Photon server.

These files contain a ready-to-use Photon database. Download and unpack the file. Then start Photon from the directory where you have unpacked the tarball.
The database dump only has support for the languages English, German, French and local language. There is also no support for structured search or full geometries. If you need more languages or any of the advanced features, use the JSON data dump.
Please make sure to download the dump that fits with the major release number of your Photon package. For version 0.7, extracts for both ElasticSearch 5.6 and OpenSearch are provided. Choose what fits to the jar file you downloaded.
master versions are built with the latest Photon version from GitHub. They are only guaranteed to work with the version they have been built with, so use with care.

This file contains a data dump, which can be used to build your own custom Photon database. Download the file, then run an import like this:
