Our facilitators
Julia is an international yoga teacher, birth doula, women’s health advocate, and closet artist who is passionate about health, environmentalism and empowered birth. She is co-creator of the Sacred Birth Yoga & Doula Training, is founding director of Awakened Spirit Yoga and co-founder of the Wellkind Foundation.
Stefanie’s doula experience spands 2 decades. Named SME Canada Business Woman of the Year 2022, she has dedicated her life to improving birth outcomes for families. She has launchede innovative programs to increase access to doula support for under-resourced families and provided countless scholarships for BIPOC and LGBTQ doulas.
Jenn has been supporting the families of Winnipeg as a birth doula and childbirth educator since 2002. Jenn is passionate about passing along her knowledge to families and other doulas, knowing that she is learning just as much from them! She currently lives in Winnipeg, Manitoba with her wonderful husband, her four amazing kids and two drooling bulldogs.
Aunjrya brings a rich background in reproductive health, equity, and advocacy to her new role supporting Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) at Doula School. With deep experience supporting diverse families through some of life’s most powerful transitions, she brings a heart-forward, equity-driven approach to her role. As a Registered Nurse, International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), maternal health navigator, and experienced educator, she is passionate about creating safer, more inclusive learning spaces for doulas from all backgrounds.
