Application assists with batch-editing video track tags

AppleScript Applet for iTunes

Obligatory warning: This script has been designated as an obsoleted "Retro Script". There is no guarantee that it will function as described with modern versions of iTunes (or the newer Music or TV apps) and/or macOS. If used in its current form it may not work at all without modification. At worst, it may corrupt or delete data.

Simply and quickly edit basic tags of a multiple selection of video tracks in iTunes, including show, video kind, season number, description, long description, comments, lyrics, artist, album, genre, rating and enabled; set played/not played; options to automatically increment track numbers and episode numbers and IDs. I created this AppleScript Studio application for my own use--it's a more thorough big brother to my Set Video Kind of Selected script--when ripping DVDs with Handbrake.

Requires Mac OS 10.4 or later.

Make Video Tags in action

Though not intended to be a "deluxe" tag editor by any means, "Make Video Tags" does allow you to simply and quickly enter some basic tag info to the selected video tracks. (In the above pic, the tracks have been ripped from DVDs which I own in order to watch them on my iPod.)
