My Fifty Years of Friendship with Doris Lessing – This piece, first presented in 2019 at the Doris Lessing 100 conference at the University of East Anglia (UK) marking the centenary of Lessing’s birth, has been kindly shared with us by its author, Paul Schlueter, longtime member of the Doris Lessing Society.

Doris Lessing (1919-2013) – This piece, written by Society member Josna Rege, was first published in The Encyclopedia of Twentieth-Century Fiction, Vol. 3 (Wiley Blackwell, 2011), and has been slightly updated since Doris Lessing’s death.
